Just even more characters... what is with my brain... oh god...
Musumiya no Ami[]
Ami is a European who entered Gensokyo to seek revenge against Minamitsu Murasa for what she did to Ami's ship.
She lived in a country in Europe as a magician. She captain a famous ship, the Helectiva. The Helectiva Ship was used to transport passengers to a different country. This was heck easy due to Ami's ability. Her ability was to manipulate home and connection. It's like a magnet. To do this, she places an amulet on the desired object and then place another amulet onto the designated area. After, the two amulets would connect.
So Ami places an amulet on her ship and another on her destination. She can just sleep through the whole journey and the whole voyage she won't have to worry about random icebergs.
Although, Helectiva only lasted for up to 100 years. One day, while cruising around Japan, her boat suddenly sank. Luckily, Ami bent her reflexes and saved all passengers and their luggages using her ability. The only thing that sank was the ship itself. Thanks to her ability again, the passengers safely arrived at their destination.
However, bad news for Ami. Her dream, Helectiva was just gone in a blink of an eye. A few days later after the incident, she found out this was Minamitsu Murasa's doing. Thie ship meant the whole word to Ami, so Ami decided to go to Gensokyo and encounter Minamitsu.
When Ami arrived at the Palanquin Ship which was now Myouren Temple, she saw Byakuren Hijiri. When Ami told Byakuren her mission, Byakuren said not to hurt Minamitsu and Byakuren will recreate her ship in return. Ami believed she was bluffing to save her friend, but Byakuren actually created a replica of Helectiva.
Ami thought it was fake, however after a thorough and fair examination, she realised it was the genuine Helectiva. Ami could not thank Byakuren enough. After the revival, Ami stayed at the temple for a while. She learnt some magic from Byakuren. Although Ami was already a magician, her ability was the homing ability and some minor black magic. Byakuren taught her some more advanced magic. Ami gave a huge thank you and left. Byakuren is a nice person.
Fun Facts[]
- Her name Ami means 'Complete Poem'. Her surname Musumiya means 'Connecting Palace'.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called "東方魔法船" (Touhou Mahoufune, Oriental Magical Ship)
- Hey, looks like ChocolateLily's brain did troll her with another idea after all!
Yutaka Shiromaru[]
Rin Shiromaru was born in a high elven family, the Shiromaru. The Shiromaru lived in a prosperous luxurious castle. Many princes proposed to Rin because of her wealth and unearthly beauty. However, Rin was not interested in marriage, she wanted to concentrate on her ranging skills. She was a highly skilled ranger.
However, one day, Rin met a human named Testusora no Akira. Akira was apparently pretty skilled with the bow and arrow. Rin thought she could actually practice with him. When she grew close to Akira, Rin learnt many new tricks.
Eventually, the two married. However, after Akira's death in a fierce war, Rin ran away, depressed and sad. She is unaware of Akira's revival as a cyborg. She started to hate herself and shut herself in. However, she realised that she needed to get out again.
She couldn't stay as 'Rin' though. She hated that name and who she was. She renamed herself Yutaka, a name she really liked. It also allowed her to refresh her life and start again. She approached her parents and claimed to be Yutaka Kagasaki. She wanted to be the ranger general of Shiromaru Castle. They thought she was suspicious as first, but her ranging skills eventually convinced them.
Yutaka became Yutaka Shiromaru. The king of the castle, Taishi Shiromaru was a magus so Yutaka learnt some magic. However, she accidentally learnt a strange ability, to manipulate appearance and disappearance.
She wanted to be famous and well known. Before the release of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, she heard about the new character, Rin Satsuki. Yutaka felt very jealous and made her disappear. Rin was very lucky to live a trace in the code.
With her ability, she could teleport. Also, she can make strange entities and objects appear out of nowhere. Now she won't even need to bring her bow and arrow; she only needs to smash her opponent down with a piano. Neverhteless, Yutaka still learns the art of ranging and teaches others too.
The reason why she wears a large hood is to protect her from Evil Spirits. Rangers, or at least ChocolateLily depicts so, are prone to being invaded by evil spirits. The special elf coat is touched with a mis that poisons spirits. They don't dare approach her.
It's unknokwn why she doesn't use her ability to make herself appear in a Touhou game. Maybe she just hasn't thought it yet. But her ability is pretty scary.
Some think she is a jerk because of what she did to Rin. Both Rin's in fact, herself and Rin Satsuki. But others think she is just another graceful elf~
Fun Facts[]
- Her current name Yutaka means 'Abundant'. Her former name, Rin means 'Lonely'. Her surname, Shiromaru means 'Castle Circle'. The kanji for Kagasaki would be 歌香咲 meaning 'Fragrant Flowering Song'. Tamako Yakatenori[]
Tamako was an average human in Gensokyo. She lived in the Human Village. Unlike most people in Gensokyo, she was an ordinary human. She had no magical abilities of the sort or super epic relfexes like everyone had. This made Tamako feel left out and too different.
She went to school. Keine had cooking classes. Tamako found cooking enjoyable, although she was pretty bad at it. That's when she decided, "I'm going to be a chef when I'm older!". The students looked down on her, knowing her pathetic cooking skills.
Everyday, Tamako practiced cooking. Still, she never seemed to improve. However, something motivated her to continue. She quit school at an early age to have more time to cook. Even after many years of cooking, she still had the same disgusting cooking skills she had when she was a child.
She felt confused and bewildered for not being able to improve and eventually went on a cooking crisis (woah, jeez, calm yer farm!). People started to become afraid of her, the rage in her cooking frightened many people and they believed that because of her extreme endeavours, her food will taste bad anyway. Some have rumoured that she poisons them.
Tamako eventually became so depressed that she couldn't handle it anymore. She locked herself in and cried everyday. The Eight Million Gods felt sorry for her and granted her the ability to unconsciously manipulate food with her thoughts. So Tamako could imagine what her food might be like and when she creates it, it will be exactly like how she thought it would be, even if she just puts a bowl of jelly for one second in the fridge. Yup, if she expects a delicious wobby jelly, that will come out!
Tamako started to feel more confident in her cooking because of this ability she was actually unaware of. She was able to show everyone her amazing food. Everyone started to like her.
She decided to enter cooking contests and always won. However, eventually the Eight Million Gods believed she had enough, although for some reason, they could not clear the ability. Tamako lived with this amazing ability for the rest of her life.
One night, Tamako headed out and saw Mystia Lorelei. Believing that she would be great for Tamako's grilled bird dish, Tamako decides to take Mystia with her home. Luckily, Mystia escaped by flying.
A hotel somewhere in Gensokyo hired Tamako as their chef. She has been making a fortune since! (me jelly...)
Fun Facts[]
- The kanji for Tamako means "Child of Food and Wind Grains". Yakatenori means "Eight Food Laws". If you put the kanji of google translate for the lulz, it will say it means "Polishing eight children eating food law" or "Eight children eating food law polishing". It made me lol.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called "東方食物則" (Touhou Tabemonosoku, Oriental Food Laws)
Ametoriko no Satoka[]
Satoka, as a young child loved sweet food. She lived in a rich family that owned four mansions; two for living in and two for others to rent. Satoka ate lots of candy everyday, although her teeth never rotted and she never became fat. Her parents didn't seem to worry because she seemed to be fit and healthy (oh really?). Besides, they had the money to buy all this candy.
Her obsession with sweets made her personality sweet. She acted all nice and kind in front of others, some people didn't like it, but others thought it was cute. But what she really did was that she would become attached to her newly found friend, then infect them with her own unique special disease.
Satoka infected them with a sweet poison called "Slave Potion". As you can tell from the name, every person she poisoned became Satoka's slave. Once they become her slave, Satoka and manipulate them all she likes. So Satoka probably have them do strange jobs and such. One of them is to break into shops and steal lollies.
The more sweets she ingests, the sweeter her personality becomes, the sweeter her poison becomes. When her poison is too sweet it increases her abilities, strength, personality, cuteness and sweetness. Like that, it's easier to trick others and make more slaves.
Some of her slaves are Orange, Rika, Ellen and Kurumi. There are may more unidentified ones. Her personality like usual, just keeps getting stranger. Eventually, she will die from sweetness, not that I know how that makes sense.
Kotohime, a policewoman tried to arrest Satoka for excessive slavery. However, Satoka's super-sweet attitude made Kotohime afraid to even touch her.
Eventually, someone had to call Eirin, a genius pharmacist to invent a slave salve for the slaves. They were secretly handed out when Satoka wasn't watching. The slaves mistaked them for blueberry juice and drank them without hesitation. The slaves became free again.
Satoka wondered where all her slaves went until she found out about Eirin's medicine. Satoka became so furious she ordered her parents to send her to the Moon. However, due to the lack of slaves to bring her sweets, her personality was off, and was unable to convince her parents.
Nowadays, Satoka keeps consuming and crunching sweets to try and get her sweet person back. She hopes that one day, she can convince her parents to fly her to the moon. When she does get to the moon, everyone wonders what sort of confrontation she will have with Eirin.
Fun Facts[]
- The kanji for Satoka means 'Sugar Incense'. Ametoriko means 'Sweet Slave'.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called "東方心奴隷" (Touhou Shindorei, The Servants' Hearts from the East)
- Hey... ChocolateLily realised that Satoka is the name of one of her cousins, so ChocolateLily has compared Satoka with Mayuka (Totokokoro) since Mayuka is also the name of one of ChocolateLily's cousins.
Chijishibou no Mitoga[]
Many years ago, in fact, hundreds, there was a human named Mitoga. She was poor and felt envious against other people. She never had luxurious products everyone else had. She had too many chores and unlike most people, she never received weekly pocket money. Still, she was grateful for what her parents had given up for her and worked extremely hard at school. She planned to get a good job and be able to pay her parents back one day.
Mitouga studied hard enough to become the prime minister of Japan. The other candidate was Okuusakai no Muriko (WHAT THE HECK!?). More people voted for Mitoga and thus Mitoga became the new prime minister. Many felt happy for her, however there were also many who weren't. They wanted Muriko to become prime minister.
They decided to kidnap Mitoga and kill her so that Muriko would become prime minister. However, when they did kill Mitoga, they discovered that Muriko had committed suicide from stress. That caused a huge catastrophe. The kidnappers didn't have much of a choice. They collect Mitoga's body and turned it into a cyborg with the genes and DNA of an average human.
Now, Mitoga ruled Japan. Mitoga herself thinks she is a human, however, she really is a cyborg. Everyone also thinks she is a human. The only people aware of her true species are the kidnappers. To make sure that this is never discovered and because they regret the huge mistake they made, the kidnappers suicided.
A few years later, a numerous amount of youkai and yuurei were heading to one direction. Later, a multitude of demons said goodbye to their city because apparently they were heading to a place called "Makai". This caught Mitoga's attention. She didn't realise the danger she was in.
Eventually, she reached Gensokyo. In a daze of how different it is to her city, she subconsciously made her way to the Youkai Mountain. Nitori cried, "GAH, A HUMAN!" but later, she realised Mitoga was not a human. This greatly shocked Mitoga as secrets of her own ego were hidden from her.
Knowing that she can't just hide this from everyone while secretly ruling Japan, she tried to find a spot in Gensokyo. She is no human, after all. She has no magical ability, but she has high authority, allowing her to boss everyone around. Mitoga is mature and doesn't take advantage of that.
Her fate is in the hands of the residents of Gensokyo.
Fun Facts[]
- The name Mitoga means 'The Beauty of a Capital Girl'. The name Chijishibo means 'The Mortality of a Governor'.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方人造律' (Touhou Jinzouritsu, Man-made laws from the Orient)
Oyuuza[]
The spirit of an ordinary human, she died in a fierce divine battle. However, she was never buried and only dumped in the sea, which drove her spirit mad. She was resurrected as a ghost.
When Oyuuza was human, she learnt that gods blessed her with a nice ability, to manipulate trajectory. This allowed Oyuuza to dominate in all activities, especially in ball sports. Oyuuza decided to become part of the army when she was older. She learnt how to use a gun, and always fired perfect shots because of her ability.
Oyuuza successfully entered the army because the coaches were surprised in her amazing yet swift accuracy. A god war began. Two gods, Kyou and Ryou began warring. Oyuuza was asked to battle for Kyou. Kyou was pushing Ryou's forces back, as every barrel fired by Kyou's team never missed. By chance, or at least everyone thought so, Ryou's aiming skills were terrible. But the truth is that Oyuuza manipulated them. However, Ryou had her own powerful abilities, and realised their strategy. Ryou had all of her remaining forces gang on Oyuuza. Oyuuza, unable to control her ability THAT fast, she was shot down.
Kyou could not afford to buy a coffin or pay for a funeral. They won the war. They had no choice but to dump Oyuuza in the sea. That's when Oyuuza enraged and became a ghost.
Angry about her former life, she tried to seek revenge on anything she felt like attacking. She came across a ghost shrine, Kasozougi. Kasozougi was gigantic, about 200 yojana long. Oyuuza wanted to take over, believing that this shrine will grant her a fortune. She battled with the master and won. Oyuuza took over, becoming the new mistress of Kasozougi. As the new mistress, she forced the former owner to leave and never return.
Although, a few years later, another ghost named Yuyuko Saigyouji and a half phantom half human named Youki Konpaku invaded. It was two against one. Oyuuza believed that her abilities would be no match for the invaders. After a fierce battle, there was still no winner. Oyuuza, beliving that she could no longer stand the pain relinquished Kasozougi. However, Yuyuko was kind enough to build a new ghost temple somewhere else also called Kasozougi for Oyuuza. Yuyuko renamed her new shrine 'Hakugyokurou'.
Oyuuza moved to her new home. Oyuuza was actually grateful, it was even bigger (500 yojana) and even more luxurious than her old Kasozougi (now Hakugyokurou). Although, she is pretty lonely, as no one visits there.
Fun Facts[]
- There is only one kanji in 'Oyuuza' (幽) and that means 'Ghost'. The 'O' and 'Za' don't mean much, other than sounding cool. The kanji for 'Kasozougi' is 幽像木 which literally means 'Ghostly Wooden Image'.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方廟怪神' (Touhou Byoukaijin, Oriental Monstrous but Divine Mausoleum)
- Where do you think 'Kyou are Ryou' are from? Clannad?
Masenko Shirafuji[]
Masenko Kamikaze was a humanoid flower. She was just an ordinary flower, but eventually became a youkai, gaining the ability to take human form. And so she did. Although, like all flowers despite evolving into a youkai, she will die one day. Unhappy with this, she took the steps of a hermit and rested for 500 years.
After resurrection, she became a humanoid hermit flower. That sounds strange, but it's Gensokyo, who cares? She dwelled through wisteria fields and met another humanoid hermit flower named Makito Shirafuji among them. They fell in love quickly because of how many connections they had. They were both flowers and can take humanoid forms. They also both deceived their families and became hermits.
They married, thus Masenko becoming Masenko Shirafuji. In the wisteria field they met, they built a house out of wisteria. Now they reside there.
However, unfortunately, one day, the whole wisteria field was mowed down and turned into a bamboo forest. Luckily, the house didn't get mowed down with it. Because of how easily you get lost in the forest, it was named the Bamboo Forest of the Lost.
In her new home, Masenko and Makito became Fujiwara no Mokou and Kaguya Houraisan's new neighbours. Masenko described Eientei to be "Large, spacious, full of rabbits, fascinating and an elegant manor". Masenko was afraid to approach Mokou because she was worried that she will get burnt, although Mokou said it was perfectly safe. Makito tested it, and he came home unharmed.
The wisteria home it still strong and up. Occassionally, Masenko and Makito visit Mokou to eat some yakitori. "It's delicious!" -- that is what Masenko said. It made Mokou really happy.
She is pretty outgoing for a flower. MAAAAASEEEEENKOOOOO!!!
Fun Facts[]
- Her name Masenko means 'Hermit of the Ancient Times'. It is supposed to be derived from Gohan's move (learnt from Piccolo), 'Masenko' (魔閃光). Her maiden name, Kamikaze means 'Wind God'. Kamikaze is supposed to be derived from Gotenks's technique, SUPER GHOST KAMIKAZE ATTACK! Her new name, Shirafuji means 'White Wisteria'.
- This lead ChocolateLily to believe that Masenko is a saiyan.
- Here's a fun fact: The kanji for 'Wisteria Field' would be pronounced 'Fujiwara', same as Mokou's. That's what made ChocolateLily make those two friends.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方花那月' (Touhou Hanagetsu, Calm Flowery Moon)
Matsumoto no Daisuke[]
Daisuke was an average human. She always had high grades at school, although she was a pretty lonely person. At high school, something popped in her head. It troubled her for a while, but then it eventually expanded into a huge story.
The story fiddled her mind for 2 months. Daisuke could not ease it or let it go. Finally, Daisuke decided to release it by writing it down on a piece of paper. What she wrote was actually a character named Himuaka no Tsukiko. Daisuke thought she was finally in peace again, however a new idea popped in her head.
It filled her mind for 2 days, Daisuke was afraid for more trouble. She quickly released it by writing it on a piece of paper. Still, after another day, new idea. Everyday, new ideas just kept coming through her mind. Eventually, she had 83 fanmades. Daisuke wondered where all these ideas came from.
One day, she had a dream. Whether the dream was real or not, it explained everything to Daisuke. Daisuke entered a magical realm called 'Lala Land'. In Lala Land, whatever she thought would come true. She met her fanmade, Ayaka Sekugami.
Eventually, she turned her whole fanmade thing into a book. Daisuke didn't sell it though and kept it to herself. This held a lot of her memories. Daisuke couldn't possibly think any more decent ideas, however, she would enter Lala Land everyday to meet her true happiness.
People have rumoured that Daisuke is a descendant of a god named "Imagination". Imagination had a far more crazy imagination then Daisuke. Daisuke is like her apprentice. However, Daisuke is unaware of this god herself, despite her extreme similarities. Whether she really is a descendant or not is unknown.
Nowadays, Daisuke sits home, drawing pictures of what she imagines her characters to look like. She still gets her good scores at school. Daisuke considers being an author when she is older. After all... the ideas that magically enter her mind is fascinating. Not that anyone is aware of this super imagination.
Fun Facts[]
- Daisuke means 'Great Light'. Matsumoto means 'Pine Book'.
- It states that she has 83 fanmades. Not including Daisuke (and the ones after Daisuke), 83 is the amount of fanmades ChocolateLily has. Daisuke is sort of based on ChocolateLily with these delirious yet fascinating ideas.
- (insert Jackie Chan face here) MY BRAIN IS FULL OF FU—
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方想空幻' (Touhou Omokuugen, Fantasy Illusory Sky from the East)
Kujira Umidani[]
The Umidani were whales. Not that they were famous or anything, they were just whales. One of their daughters, Kujira was born with a mental problem. Sometimes, she would randomly turn into a human. Luckily, when she became human, she was a beautiful delicate one. Her elegance attracted dolphins, hence the dolphins in her picture.
When she became whale again, she jumped back into the sea. The Umidani considered her human transformation a huge problem to their heritage, so they sought a whale pharmacist to find a cure. They bought a medication which they believed would prevent Kujira from becoming a human. However, something they did not realise was that this medication was not crafted for mammals and only worked on fish.
It actually backfired and had a huge side effect. But it was a good one, Kujira was able to depollute water with a manoeuvre on the hand. That way, residing in the sea was much easier. Kujira started to become popular. Although, she still turned human every now and then, because the medication didn't actually 'work'.
Kujira's worst enemies are Japanese people. Recently, they have been killing lots of whales for food or to create medicine. Also, other people have been dumping rubbish in the sea. This makes Kujira work extra hard to get rid of it all. Just she is thankful that she is payed to do this.
Eventually, Kujira could no longer protect the world. Her exhaustion caused her to stress, only to grow necromantic abilities to eventually evolve into a youkai. Losing the other whales' trust, she was forced to leave her home. While she was human, she ran to Gensokyo.
By the time she reached the Misty Lake, she returned back to her whale form. She encountered Cirno, who attacked her for no reason. With her newfound magic, Kujira easily defeated Cirno. After defeating Cirno, she moved on and eventually swam in the Wind God Lake around the Moriya Shrine.
There, Suwako picked up Kujira. Kujira told Suwako about her life. Suwako gladly allowed Kujira (with the permission of Kanako) to live in the Moriya Shrine as a proud pet. Now Kujira depollutes any rubbish that winds up in the Wind God Lake and serves her new masters as best as she can.
Fun Facts[]
- Kujira means 'Whale' and Umidani means 'Sea Valley'. So her name means 'Whale of the Sea Valley'.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game it would be called '東方鯨神剣' (Touhou Kujikanken, Oriental Divine Whale Sword)
Tami Takanashi[]
Tami is a rather strange entity, being a falcon tengu. Like most tengu, if not all, Tami lives in the Youkai Mountain. Also like tengu, she is very loyal to their chief, Lord Tenma. Tami's primary job was to guard the waterfall and report intruders. Despite having a similar job, Tami doesn't even know who Momiji Inubashiri is.
Her closest friend is Aya. Maybe that's becaues Tami is a fan of Bunbunmaru Newspaper and Tami wanted to get to know her. Being friends with famous people can be good or bad, Tami thought it was good. It's unknown if Tami has any more tengu friends other than Aya Shameimaru.
Although she is a guard of the waterfall, her main job was to heal injured tengu and kappa. With her ability to manipulate any chemical, she turned them into healing salves. That way, all tengu can regenerate their health and keep working. It's no wonder why Tami is one of most Tenma's gifted tengu.
With the chemicals she manipulates, she can also invent severe poisons that can inflict her opponent with an incurable illness. Some of her poisons can cause cancer and some things that are even worse. One of them is death.
One day, a letter from the fairies reached Tenma. He/she considered the letter as a threat. I'm sure "Come to the Misty Lake otherwise we will blow up the whole mountain!" isn't suspicious or anything. Anyway, Tenma had Tami go to the Misty Lake to act as a spy.
And so she did. She pretended she was "偽名前 間者" Nisenama no Maza. She said she was a half human/falcon hybrid and was here because other falcons were bullying here. The 'Maza' pretended that she believed fairies were much friendlier.
Tami collected information and sent letters to Tenma about it. Eventually, Tami found out that many years ago, the fairies lived in the Youkai Mountain until tengu and kappa invaded. Now, the fairies seek revenge and wanted to take their home back. So Tami told Tenma to tell the tengu to train harder for the upcoming battle.
Eventually, Tami plans to run away from the Misty Lake and return to Tenma for the vicious battle. Has Tami actually befriended the fairies and plans to betray the tengu, or does she still have a heart for tengu and ally upon them with her shamanism?
What happens next is unknown. Will Remilia Scarlet ruin everything and fate the fairies to win? Or will Haruhi interfere and create her own scenario? It all depends on ChocolateLily, after all, she created this whole weird thing.
Fun Facts[]
- The name 'Tami' might be based on ChocolateLily's cousin, 'Tammy' but it means 'Abundant Beauty'. Her surname 'Takanashi' means 'Falcon Pear'. Her fake first name, Maza means 'Spy' and Nisenama means 'Fake Name'.
- ChocolateLily believes Tami, or Suigintou resembles Eirin and Byakuren.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方狗戦争' (Touhou Inusensou, Eastern Dog War)
Rhea Mizuhashi[]
Rhea is Parsee Mizuhashi's older sister. Something the two hashihime sisters hav in common is a huge stroke of bad luck. At an early age, they were separated from each other. Parsee was forced to guard a bridge leading to the Ancient City. Rhea, too was forced to guard a bridge, but a bridge to somewhere else.
Years of jealousy passed Parsee, giving her the power to manipulate it. However, as for Rhea, years of loneliness passed her. Now she can manipulate someone's desolation.
The bridge Rhea guards is a bridge leading to a portal that teleports them to a haunted temple run by the true Satan. Whoever enters it gets dragged through hellish flames by the satanic Satan. That's why Rhea was forced to guard it, to make sure that doesn't happen.
When someone dare approach the bridge, Rhea attempts to push them back by persuading them with loneliness. Most of the time, Rhea was successful, but sometimes people with lots of friends and family ignore it and pass the portal to snoop around. You don't want to know what happens next.
The cause of Rhea's ability is indeed solitariness and devastation. While Rhea stood on the bridge, she sat there crying, hoping someone would come to talk to her and cheer her up. However, every night, no one came. Her loneliness is the cause of her ability.
One day, while no one was watching, Rhea took a small peek inside the portal, not realising what danger she was in. Rhea saw a lady in a red outfit and white hair. The lady turned around and said, "Oh hi! My name is Shinki, I recognise you, the one who guards the bridge! Come in, I promise I won't hurt you like others!"
Rhea went in. She learnt that the portal was actually a portal leading to Makai, a demon world, not actually a hell to sweep down intruders with. Apparently, an evil lord created a portal in the underground to make it easier to invade Makai, however the lord was killed by the wrath of Shinki. Shinki forced someone to guard the bridge, as it was impossible to destroy the portal. Rhea was chosen to do this.
Anyone who enters Makai is instantly considered an intruder, except for the residents and Rhea. To prevent too many deaths, that's why Rhea makes sure no one enters. Rhea has a bigger life than Parsee, still, she is just as depressed and unlucky as her younger sister.
Fun Facts[]
- The name Rhea may either be a reference to the Titaness daughter of Uranus or a reference to Apollo Justice's investigative partner on the fanmade case 5 of "Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice", "Turnabout Substitution", Rhea Wits. She was given a non-Japanese name to make is similar to Parsee, which is also a non-Japanese name. Like Parsee, her surname means 'Water Bridge'.
- A bridge to Makai? Got a great idea, my friend!
- Don't you even think about it!
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方橋魔界' (Touhou Hashimakai, Eastern Bridge of a Demon Realm)
Tenzin[]
Chihito was a son of a rich famous clan. Chihito took control of a special sword called 'Shinken'. Shinken could manipulate growth as well as being a weapon for combat. With this power, Chihito wished himself good robust and health. However, Shinken doesn't only manipulate the growth of living entities, but to plants, planets and even all inanimate objects.
His family all grew up to be celestials. Likewise, Chihito became a celestial. However, after ascending to heaven, his name 'Chihito' became meaningless. He changed his name to Tenzin, a name a lot more fitting for him, now that he resides in heaven.
Gee, I'm bored of this celestial life; I want to invoke my own disaster too! Tenzin wanted to see Shinken's true power and looked beyond it. He manipulated planet Venus's growth. Venus began to take strange shape. It had such demented layout, it almost crashed into Mercury.
Luckily, a shikaisen named Luna quickly manipulated Venus with the help of her friend, Ana. Ana manipulated Venus's own emotions to stop growing. As investigation went on for years, Tenzin carefreely resided in heaven as if nothing happened.
Tenzin was one of the most rudest celestials around, not only does he descend to disturb humans, he also might assault them for the heck of it. He takes full advantage of Shinken and uses it to make someone retarded or dement others.
Due to sloth and lack of movement, he died because he was truly not immortal. He spirit was picked up by Komachi Onozuka, but Tenzin escaped her and became an evil spirit. Although, he was eventually sealed away by Reimu Hakurei and met Mima.
He has escaped the seal before because of Mima. Mima's magic broke the seal and then they disrupt humans before Reimu seals them again.
Mima is officially his mentor. Tenzin learns magic and other abilities from her. Tenzin realised his undiscipline will only serve to receive punishments from Mima, so Tenzin often had to pull himself together. However, the necromancy he picks up from Mima will eventually allow him to break the seal himself and then go free into Gensokyo.
"Caves are great. I want to live in one." said Tenzin. "Shut up, you will stay in the seal to keep me company as well as learn magic!" said Mima.
Fun Facts[]
- Tenzin literally means 'Sky Person' or 'Celestial'. Although it is supposed to be pronounced Tenjin or Tennin, ChocolateLily made the official pronunciation Tenzin in honour of one of ChocolateLily's old classmates, who she hasn't seen for over a decade. That Tenzin liked Naruto, hence his picture being Sasuke Uchiha.
- Shinken means 'Growth Sword'.
- His former name, Chihito means 'Earth Person' or 'Place People'.
- His story as well as his name seems similar to a certain someone
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方封霊天' (Touhou Houryouten, Heavenly Sealed Spirit of the Orient)
Kagura no Misaki[]
Misaki was a human. As a young child, she enjoyed music. Her most favourite was techno music. At a young age, she learnt how to create artificial sounds using synthesizer keyboards. She was soon considered a genius. She wasn't even a teenager yet, and she could compose her own music.
As years went on, supernatural powers for Misaki awakened. She became such a genius that her body changed and she became a half saint (of music). When Misaki told others about this, people's opinions on youkai differed. Now everyone thought they were highly likely to exist, although saints aren't classified as youkai.
She was accepted in Gensokyo. In Gensokyo, a competition was to be held soon. This was where musicians from all over Gensokyo would gather to show off all their musical talents. The winner will have a chance to compose a piece with the famous ZUN, as well as become a notable person across the universe.
Misaki believed this was her chance to shine and applied. However, she had a striking rivals known as the Prismriver Sisters. All contestants were given the opportunity to team up, however it seemed that no one was really interested in teaming up with Misaki. Misaki was often bullied about that. Although, they were really out to let Misaki down, as they knew she'd win, after hearing her practice.
Her abilities and advantages as a saint were almost cheating, not that anyone, not even Misaki herself, realised. Being the very saint of music herself, she had more holiness and more power. Thus, Misaki's music had more epicness, catching judges' attention. Misaki loves to mess around with her synthesizer keyboard.
On the night of the finale, Misaki was to play last. Before Misaki's turn, the current winners were the Prismrivers. Misaki turned the whole show around by playing an epic song. This crow erupted with applause upon hearing Misaki's true talent. Of course, to Misaki's delight, she won. Misaki composed a song with ZUN, although it's unknown what they created...
After that, she became very, very famous for her unique stlye and sense of techno. She began to compose her own techno songs. She began to work as a DJ for a random club. It keeps everyone happy, really! Especially this!
Fun Facts[]
- Her name Misaki means 'Watch it Bloom and Flower'. Her surname Kagura means 'Sacred Music and Dance'.
- She is slightly created in honour of Toyosatomimi no Miko.
- The song she played for the competition finale is a remix of Yamame's theme arranged by ALiCE'S EMOTiON. The one she plays at clubs is also an arrangement by ALiCE'S EMOTiON, the original is Eirin's theme. This makes ChocolateLily think Misaki is a member of ALiCE'S EMOTiON.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方大音楽' (Touhou Daiongaku, Great Music of the East)
Kinae Izumi[]
Kinae, a young oni lived underground with other oni. They grew sick of losing to humans and took refuge underground. However, Kinae despised cramped subterranean worlds and always made plans to reach the surface. Another reason to do this was because her best friend, Suika Ibuki also lives on the surface. However, Kinae's parents are against this.
Unlike most oni, she despises sake, incredible strength and parties. She likes to read strange books about philosophy and science. Because of the absurd things it says, it amuses Kinae. When she is dissatisfied with the book, she unofficially republishes the book and keeps it to herself.
Because most books she weren't happy with, she eventually grew the ability to manipulate text. Although, one day, she accidentally picked up her mother's job application. She thought it was a page from a book and manipulated its text and replaced it with something strange. Her mother failed the job because she sent it without knowing the changes.
After a thorough investigation, they found out it was Kinae's doing. Kinae was crazy about this first, then realised the huge mistake she made. As a punishment, they chopped off her horns and kicked her out of the Ancient City. To hide her ugly remains of her horns, she always wears pigtails wherever she goes.
As she headed out, she actually felt a sense of achievement. She had always wanted to escape underground and reunite with Suika. While she strolled through the cave, she confronted Parsee Mizuhashi, but they eventually became friends. Parsee learnt of Kinae's melancholic life. She was different and always felt out in oni activities. After all, Kinae hates partying and rinking.
Fortunately, Kinae did see Suika. Kinae partied for the first time, however did not enjoy it. Suika didn't mind, Kinae was an interesting person to talk to.
When Suika is unavailable, Kinae sat down and read (possibly manipulated) books. At first sight, everyone believed she was just a human or a pretty youkai. However, behind the pigtails, it will tell a whole new story. Nevertheless, Kinae is happy to be out of the horrific satanic underground.
Fun Facts[]
- Her name, 'Kinae' means 'Demon Seedling'. He 'Ki' in 'Kinae' shares the same kanji as 'Oni'. Her surname 'Izumi' means 'Peaceful Spring'.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方地鬼本' (Touhou Chikimoto, Eastern Earth Book Oni)
Shougetsu[]
As Shingetsu continued to hide from messengers of mafia murders, she stayed in her created dream world. However, to her surprise, she bore another child. They named her Shougetsu. When Shougetsu heard her mum's backstory, Shougetsu began to worry and feel depressed. She became too scared to live in the dream world her mother created, in case assassins broke in.
She ran away, wanting to find a new home. Her sisters, Mugetsu and Gengetsu began to worry. They worried that she might've died or if something bad happened to her. Their panic flowed out of their body and reached Shougetsu, causing her to remember the good times she had with her sisters. This somehow gave her the ability to manipulate malevolence.
Shougetsu found her new home; Makai. With the amount of demons there, Shougetsu fit in quite easily, especially with nice people.
Her ability to quite based on her sisters. As the level of panic rises for Mugetsu and Gengetsu, the essence passes onto Shougetsu and it converts to malevolent energy that demons use to curse others. Shougetsu, being a demon can manipulate it. She is aware of the ability, but not about the fact that it was her sisters blindly granting it to her.
However, there was so much malevolence built up that Shougetsu's body couldn't handle it. It was released unconsciously. When the residents of Makai felt evil, it prompted Shinki it investigate. Shinki found out about Shougetsu's secret and past.
Shinki had to unfortunately kick her out of Makai to avoid more havoc. Shougetsu decided to return home.
Her family cried upon seeing her. After all, they had not seen Shougetsu in years. Because her sisters stopped worrying, Shougetsu's ability was no more. Shougetsu found this strange at first. It prompted her to investigate.
Shougetsu was able to research that malevolence, well, according to ChocolateLily's insane imagination, can be created via panic. This moved Shougetsu and made her cry, that means her sister worried about her so much. She apologised to her family and promised to never leave like that.
Sometimes she made others panic on purpose in order to retake the ability.
Fun Facts[]
- Her name Shougetsu means 'Small Moon'.
- Her picture is a fanart of Gengetsu, similar to how Shingetsu's picture is also Gengetsu.
- It states that her father's name is Gogetsu, although that name isn't official.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方信小月' (Touhou Shinshougetsu, Oriental Small Faithful Moon)
- The kanji for Shougetsu and Shingetsu make up for the kanji in 'Touhou Shinshougetsu'.
Eiko Yatsuki[]
Eiko is a moon rabbit. Compared to most rabbits, she has a striking intelligence and is probably just as knowledgeable as Eirin Yagokoro. However, Eiko does not work with medicine, but actually catches abilities with the results of medicine. She sneaked into Eirin's lab and took a sip of the Hourai Elixir. Still, that was enough to take effects.
By 'catch the ability', that technically means Eiko is a Hourai Elixir herself. You don't consume her, but insetad, she casts a low-mana-consuming spell on you and the effects of the Hourai Elixir awaken onto you. You will cease to age, never die, never become ill but you still feel the pain.
Because the effects of the Hourai Elixir means that you never die no matter what, this spell cannot be reversed. What Eiko does is that she grants immortality if one desires it. However, you have to make this choice carefully because once you've been enchanted, there's no going back.
Now that Eiko was a consumer of the Hourai Elixir, which is considered forbidden to Lunarians, Eiko was to be executed. However, before they even captured her, she exiled to earth, hoping to find Eirin and her friend, Reisen Udongein Inaba.
Emissaries from the moon came to retrieve Eiko, however with the help of Eientei's residents, she escaped them all. She is afraid to return to the moon, so Eiko sticks with Kaguya Houraisan. She now lives in Eientei.
Becoming an official resident of Gensokyo, Eiko decided to head out for a walk and explore. In the Bamboo Forest of the Lost where Eientei was located, she met Fujiwara no Mokou, who wasn't exactly in good terms with Kaguya. Still, Eiko greeted her with respect. Still not used to the geography, Eiko got lost and asked Mokou to send her back to Eientei. A human with a good heart.
Perhaps Eiko is the reason why Uchuhakai no Fushiko is resistant to the most dangerous situations herself; although Fushiko was born with immortality, she could still die from assaults. But now that she has an incredible strength, she wasn't dying. In fact, Eiko granted Fushiko immortality. Being a new resident of earth, she had no idea what destruction Fushiko has caused.
Fun Facts[]
- Her name Eiko means 'Child of Eternity'. Yatsuki means 'Eight Moons' or 'August'. In total, it means 'There is a Child of Eternity Among the Eigh Moons' or 'The Eternal Child From August'. Hence her birth month, August.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方不死録' (Touhou Fushiroku, Eastern Chronicles of Immortality)
Ushieisei no Wishouna[]
Wishouna was a human, but a rather strange one. She had a unique taste and obsession with umbrellas. Wishouna had all different types; from normal blue ones to huge ones with random pictures of youkai. Where she got them is unknown; it's unknown whether she bought them or she designed it herself. Nevertheless, she was addicted to umbrellas, leave it at that.
Like any human being would, she died of age. However, her umbrellas reached 100 years of age and became animate. They saw their owner and resurrected her.
After her reincarnation, she forgot about everything and why she was standing. She decided to explore the world, and at one point entered Gensokyo. On the ground, she found a crystal ball. The crystal ball was bewitched and could tell the future. Wishouna found it to be interesting and often played with it.
To her surprise, she found out that the world would be covered in scarlet mist and soon to lose spring. Later, more mist would arrive then a festival would be ruined by a missing moon. After, flowers would cover fields and then a shrine would be asked to close down. Not long later, a twisted weather will go around and later evil spirits up in the surface. What surprised her the most is that UFOs will be soaring through the sky.
This caused her to panic. Some time around the events of Silent Sinner in Blue, when Yukari Yakumo was planning to attack the moon, Wishouna ran to Yukari and told her everything, including strange divine spirits. This smothered Yukari as such rubbish would never happen. However, Wishouna then confidently said to Yukari, "Well, you will attack the moon and FAIL." Yukari was not pleased to hear 'fail', but was surprised that Wishouna knew about the invasion.
As such, Yukari was convinced. When Yukari did fail the moon attack, she began to trust Wishouna. Eventually, Wishouna used the crystal ball so often that she didn't need it anymore. Instead, she could tell the future using her own mind. However, in case she needs help at some stages, her umbrellas hold their own crystal balls.
Wishouna is relatively friendly, and she often tells people their future. They were skeptical to believe it at first, but then in the future, they would find out it's true. However, problems may occur when she tells her customer, as Remilia can manipulate their fate, which is their future.
Fun Facts[]
- Ushieisei when divided means 'Future' (as in her ability), 'Crystal Ball' (her object used to tell the future) and 'Energy' (something she abounds). Wishouna means something like 'Future Plethora Gene'.
- Because the 'Wi' in her name (Wishouna) is no longer an official kana, it's more customary to call her 'Ishouna'.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方大妖精' (Touhou Daiyousei, Eastern Great Bewitching Energy) (Note: The kanji for Daiyousei make up for this Daiyousei, which means 'Eastern Greater Fairy' but in this case, I think of it differently.)
Nagahasu no Mikoto[]
Mikoto was a young youkai magician. She lived in a world where lots of evil was going around. Mikoto was often forced to do dirty work and she hated it. Her father was a criminal who wanted to take over the world and her mother was devoted to a demon who slaughtered innocent people.
She started to hate her kin's evil ways and decided to leave the area. They didn't really care about her disappearance. No one cared about their family in that world and only really cared about anything that relates to the world 'evil'.
Upon entering a land named Gensokyo, she came across a goddess, Benzaiten. She was very caring and Mikoto decided to live with her. Benzaiten was a goddess of anything relates to flow; music, water, words, etc. Mikoto became devoted to Benzaiten because of her compassion and for giving up many things to raise Mikoto.
From Benzaiten, Mikoto learnt how to understand's one's flow and style of life. She was also able to understand music and water's flow. Anything that involves flow she can understand.
Although she could be considered a good person, her heart was still made of an evil magician, so it was very hard to fit in with other disciples and residents of the temple she lived in. To make sure she is hurt by no more, she learnt an art that would remove her dark presence. However, it was no Buddhist art she learnt from Benzaiten, it was black magic she learnt from a youkai. Byakuren Hijiri, a heroine to youkai taught her how to use black magic when Mikoto snuck out one night.
This magic could've corrupted her body. It backfired; she kept the same presence but gained a strange ability; to understand one's level of divinity. By looking at someone, she could tell whether they were a god or just a human instantly. She could what kind of god they were; an arahitogami or they have no divinity whatsoever. Although, this helped Mikoto tell whether she was being tricked or someone really was a god. Benzaiten was adverse to punish Mikoto for using black magic, however decided to let her go, as she got lucky and gained a powerful ability.
Mikoto was glad to meet Benzaiten and escape the dangerous dark hell she lived in before.
Fun Facts[]
- Mikoto means 'Life'. Nagahasu means 'Flowing Lotus'. This fits Mikoto very well, as she is a disciple of the goddess Benzaiten, the goddess of anything that flows. A Lotus flower symbolizes purity, beauty and anything clean. If we use Mikoto's backstory as an example, it doesn't fit very well. However, Benzaiten is a Buddhist god, and Lotus flowers are associated with Buddhism.
- Benzaiten's name is sometimes read as 'Benten'. Now ChocolateLily makes obvious references to obvious TV shows.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方神大連' (Touhou Gamidairen, Divine Great Lotus of the East)
Genakuma no Orenka[]
Orenka was Koishi Komeiji's shikigami. They had a good relationship, Koishi was very caring so Orenka would never fail to fulfil Koishi's tasks. As a night sparrow, she often sang songs. As influence from Koishi, usually sang love songs. Koishi never hurt Orenka, so Orenka was very grateful to have a kind caring master.
However, one day, an incident occurred in the Palace of the Earth Spirits, prompting Orenka to leave. Koishi grieved the day she left. Orenka missed Koishi, however could not return to her home because of the terrifying incident. It won't be revealed what happened as it is too upsetting and will make you cry, or, ChocolateLily can't think of anything depressing.
She moved around the fields of Gensokyo and on night encountered a mysterious person. She didn't realise the person was actually an evil devil and cursed Orenka. Orenka turned into a devil. Luckily, she had a large amount of cuteness that only her clothes changed and she kept the same pretty face.
Along the forests, she met Mystia Lorelei, the only person who would accpet her as a nice devil. As a result, they became best friends.
As a devil, the nature's voice would no longer listen to her. This angered her a lot, and all of her dreams would never come true. The curse the devil laid depleted all of her magical abilities and charming voice. She still has a voice, just not as pleasant as the one before. She is lucky to have a nice friend like Mystia.
One day, presumably after the events of Subterranean Animism, when exploring with Mystia, she stumbled across a shrine. That's where Orenka met a familiar face, Koishi. A huge family hug was necessary, as they have not met for years. Later, Mystia and Orenka had to return home, later the heroine faces Koishi as the extra stage boss.
Whatever Koishi was there for Orenka had no idea. However, she was glad to see Koishi after so long. Orenka told Koishi about the strange person who cursed her and ruined her life.
Now Orenka wanders around with Mystia, hoping to find humans to disturb and treasures to collect.
Fun Facts[]
- The characters for Orenka mean 'Small Love Song'. It's probably a reference to Koishi's 'GLOOMY POWER OF LOVE!'. The kanji for Genakuma mean 'Illusory Devil'.
- ChocolateLily left this 'Unknown Evil Person' anonymous because she doesn't intend to offend anyone.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方地夜雀' (Touhou Chiyasuzume OR Touhou Chiyosuzume, Oriental Subterranean Night Sparrow)
Sadame Ichigo[]
At a young age, Sadame began to work as a shinigami. Her mother was a yama's daughter and her father was a demon. Whether Sadame took the path of a shinigami or a demon carer didn't bother her parents at all. She decided to become a shinigami.
As a rookie shinigami, she believed that scythe training was necessary. Although, it REALLY wasn't, she found it fun anyway. She became very good at using a scythe, and eventually was able to defeat anyone in a scythe fight. Next, she began her training as an actual shinigami who collects souls. She was fantastic at that.
Years past and Sadame had collected over a million souls. She started to get bored of this job and freely quit. She had no problem with bad mouthing in front of the yama. Although boredom was her primary reason to quit, her main reason was to buy more time to retrieve what she called 'the perfect power'.
Sadame is one of those people who hunger for power and strength. She even decided to go as far to plot a theft. She wanted to steal the Hakurei Yin-Yang Orb in order to gain Reimu's power. She knew Reimu was someone powerful in terms of danmaku. If she possessed the orbs, she would be able to beat anyone in a match.
However, the orbs would not properly respond to Sadame and it backfired; instead, she gained a much more powerful ability, Red Magic. Red Magic is specifically fire or blood magic. Crossed with her scythe, Sadame is truly an opponent to fear. She is probably even stronger than Shikieiki or Yukari with the two abilities together.
Because she attempted to commit a crime (thievery) it was declared she should be executed. However, Sadame, taught from a smart mother, first thing she did was run to the Bamboo Forest of the Lost. Because she knew she couldn't stand a chance against the yama, the only way to avoid death was immortality. She defeated Fujiwara no Mokou and consumed her liver. It was not pleasant, but Sadame successfully avoided death.
After reaching immortality, she started to hate Reimu a lot. One night, she met Meira, who wanted the power of the Hakurei. They allied and decided that one day, they would ambush Reimu and take the orbs. However, Sadame does not plan to befriend Meira and she will betray her after the plan. A truly sinister and corrupt person Sadame is.
Fun Facts[]
- Her name Ichigo means 'Strawberry', but if we look at the kanji it means 'Honourable One'. Sadame means 'Destiny' or 'Fate'.
- ChocolateLily thinks she resembles Yumemi Okazaki. Sort of. But then that gives a huge connection, because Yumemi's theme is 'Strawberry Crisis!" and Ichigo's name means 'Strawberry'.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方黒災紅' (Touhou Kurosaikou, Eastern Black-Red Disaster)
Tanya Momotaro[]
Tanya was a serpent. She was often lied to, yet she could never tell whether it was the truth or not. She was lied to so much, she didn't even know her real name. Some said it was 'Utsuho', others said 'Youmu', some said 'Rin', they even said 'ZUN'. Tanya was so confused, she had to give herself her own name and chose Tanya. All that she knows is that Uchuhakai no Fushiko is her older sister, however 'Uchuhakai no Fushiko' is not her real name either. Although, Fushiko did know her full name. As a result, Tanya used 'Momotaro' has her surname.
Back to the point, more lies crossed her face and she couldn't do anything about it. She only had her weak instincts to use. One day, she looked at herself in the mirror. She realised; she wasn't exactly pretty. Her family was full of strange creatures; Fushiko was a youkai, Tanya was a serpent and their parents were both some sort of tengu.
Although, Fushiko was humanoid, giving her a more pleasant appearance. Same with her parents. However, Tanya took a proper snake's form. Essentially, she wasn't pretty. Tanya was mistaken, she believed this was the reason why people lied to her. However, that wasn't true.
Still reluctant to disbelieve this, she casted away her own life. She shut her serpent side away in an umbrella and a humanoid, delicate and elegant side of Tanya awoke. She felt more happy, however, people still lied to her.
Now she knows the reason why people lied to her. She went as far to ditch her own life. Her true nature at heart.
Nevertheless, her beautiful appearance gave her a new ability; charisma. As a venomous serpent, she could already use poison attacks and she still can. However, her prettier appearance often inspired others and they became devoted to her.
One of her so-called devotees was Inishie no Hadeko. However, after a month, Hadeko ripped off her disguise. She, in reality was Uchuhakai no Fushiko. Fushiko did not appreciate her sister's 'bitchy charisma' (as she described it) and ultimately slayed her.
And that's why she's dead. Years later, Fushiko was sealed not for that reason.
Fun Facts[]
- Momotaro means 'Peach Snake Road'. Tanya means 'Light of the Night'.
- She looks like Kaguya Houraisan, doesn't she?
- She can't appear in a Touhou game, she's dead. However, if she could, anyway, it would be called '東方夜霊美' (Touhou Yorureibi, Beautiful Night Spirit of the East)
Inishie no Hirumitsu[]
Gu Mimi, a descendant of a Chinese tengu line was extremely rebellious compared to other young tengu. She always did things she was told strictly not to do. One night, Mimi snuck out of her house and entered a mysterious lab. Mimi spotted a vial containing a vivid green liquid. Although it said "INCOMPLETE; DO NOT DRINK; MAY CAUSE ILLNESS", Mimi still drank it.
Suddenly, something in Mimi changed. After a long loud scream, it took action. Although the label read, 'Potion of Fortune', Mimi noticed that faith has risen in her. She wasn't exactly a deity, but she had a high level of divinity. Now she was a lot different to other tengu.
Mimi's family as most notable for the pure white colour, however the potion she rebelliously drank gave her a tint of red. She knew that she could no longer fit in and ran away. She turned to Gensokyo, knowing that there were lots of tengu there. To delete traces of previous life, she renamed herself her kanji equivalent, 'Inishie no Hirumitsu'. Now that she was free, she soared through Gensokyo, realising how much better it was then China. There, Hirumitsu met a fellow tengu, who claimed to be a crow tengu. Suddenly, Hirumitsu's mind burst and realised something; he was lying. Hirumitus exposed his lie and the tengu was surprised.
The crow tengu admitted he was 'Inishie no Gatensu', a Divine White Sparrow tengu. Hirumitsu didn't sense a lie this time, so she believed him. To her surprise, she met another Divine White Sparrow Tengu. Quickly did they fall in love and marry. Later, they realised they were cousins. Why Gatensu lied was because he didn't want anyone to know about his divinity.
Why Hirumitsu went mad when Gatensu lied was figured out. Hirumitsu soon found out that the potion had a side effect; to see through lies and find secrets. Now, people were too afraid to hide things from Hirumitsu.
Hirumitsu and Gatensu's deity-like figure caused them to live for a long time. Hirumitsu knows it but Aya doesn't, but Aya is actually Hirumitsu's distant descendant. Momiji happens to be Hirumitsu's descendant's friend's daughter. Nowadays, Hirumitsu roams Gensokyo with Gatensu to explore how much better it is compared to China.
Because her body is now older, a lot of people go to her and hear her story. The find it so interesting, they hear it again and again and again and again.
Fun Facts[]
- Her profile states that she is Chinese. Her Chinese equivalent is 'Gu Mimi'. The Gu (Inishie) means 'Ancient'. The Mimi (Hirumitsu) means 'Clandestine' or 'Secret Honey'. Gatensu is supposed to mean 'Brilliant Heavenly Child'. Gatensu, also being Chinese, his name is 'Gu Huantianzi'.
- It can be debatable whether she really is Chinese. 'Gu' is an extremely rare surname, if it even is a surname at all. Mimi is also a bad name in Chinese. Gatensu is also flawed, names are supposed to have 2 characters instead of 3 in Chinese. Maybe it's just ChocolateLily's stupidity.
- If Hiramitsu is a white sparrow, it's unknown how Aya is a crow and Momiji is a white wolf. Also, if Hirumitsu is divine, it's possible Aya has some traces of divinity.
- She is one of the few characters who bore children.
- If she appeared in a Touhou game, it would be called '東方羽白暴' (Touhou Habakuba, Eastern White Winged Exposure)
- ChocolateLily declares this as her final fanmade... on this page (there might be another page of fanmades... SIGH)
