	楽園の巫女  'Shrine Maiden of Paradise' Reimu Hakurei Playable Character   The shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine launches off to the sky in search of treasure... or, perhaps, simply to exterminate the youkai causing the ruckus.
	普通の魔法使い  Ordinary Magician   Marisa Kirisame Playable Character Curiosity grips the ordinary magician as the strange flying object soars off in the sky. Perhaps there is some monetary gain at hand?
	山の新人神様  Newbie Goddess of the Mountain Sanae Kochiya Playable Character Directed by the gods of her shrine, this miracle worker heads into the air to chase the flying object. It's her exciting first adventure in Gensokyo.

	ダウザーの小さな大将  The Little Dowser General Nazrin Stage 1 Midboss / Boss, Stage 5 Midboss A mouse youkai who seems to be looking for something important.
	愉快な忘れ傘  The Cheery Forgotten Umbrella  Kogasa Tatara Stage 2 Midboss / Boss, Extra Stage Midboss An umbrella youkai who approaches the player to try and scare her out of boredom.
	守り守られし大輪 The Great Wheel, Having Guarded and Been Guarded Ichirin Kumoi Stage 3 Midboss / 3 Boss A youkai that controls a giant cloud named Unzan. Irritated by the attention the flying object has caused, she attempts to wrest the important fragments away from the player.
	Unzan Ichirin Kumoi's familiar An old nyuudou controlled by Ichirin. A shy cloud who only talks to Ichirin, he imforms her that the player has got the important fragments.
	水難事故の念縛霊 The Ghost Left From the Shipwreck Accident Minamitsu Murasa Stage 4 Boss The spirit of the captain of the palanquin ship. She is aiding the others in trying to revive Byakuren Hijiri.
	毘沙門天の弟子 Disciple of Bishamonten Shou Toramaru Stage 5 Boss The tiger youkai and Nazrin's superior. She is leading the effort to unseal Byakuren Hijiri.
	封印された大魔法使い The Sealed Great Magician Byakuren Hijiri Final Stage Boss The living saint, brought back through the player's efforts. A former human friend to all humans and youkai.
	未確認幻想飛行少女 The Unidentified Fantastic Flying Girl Nue Houjuu Stage 4 Midboss (Unknown Form), Final Stage Midboss (Unknown Form), Extra Stage Boss (True Form) A strange, unknown youkai who has interfered with your quest time and time again. Is she an alien?
