Main Profile
Miko was born in a stable and is considered a genius. With her high level and her ability to listen to ten people speaking at the same time, Miko heard many complaints when she was young. She listened to people's problems and was able to quickly give them advice; rumors about Miko began going around and Miko became popular.
Some time later, Seiga Kaku, who had heard the rumors about Miko, went up to Miko and taught her the charms of Taoism. Taoism was essentially nature worship, and by being Taoist you could gain immortality.
Seiga then told Miko about Buddhism. Buddhism forbade murder and Miko knew it would help the nation and Miko spread the word of Buddhism. However, secretly, Miko used Taoism to enhance her experiments. Miko continued her objective to become immortal. However, during the process, she had destroyed her own body because of the Taoism which was supposed to make Miko immortal. Miko couldn't stand the unstable body and decided to become a shikaisen, which was a secret technique that would make Miko appear to die and get resurrected.
However, Miko was afraid to undergo the process alone and asked Futo to sleep first. Futo believed in Miko's power and slept. Eventually, Futo 'died' but continued resting without decaying. Miko realised it was safe, and went to sleep herself.
Miko planned to wake up when Buddhism felt they need a saint. However, her plan didn't work out well, as Buddhism controlled the nation. Also, Buddhist monks placed seals on Miko's mausoleum and couldn't wake up.
Eventually, Miko planned to wake up. Her mausoleum was was moved into Gensokyo in the Myouren Temple.
During Ten Desires, Miko was finally resurrected, however encountered the heroine who wished to know why there were so many divine spirits. The divine spirits were out to witness the saint's resurrection.
