Yeah, that 1-1 score was pure luck. My current theoretical maximum is 86K: 23K + 23K + 40K. But it was so irritating and random that I'm probably going to give up if someone beats the current score.
The most irritating part is that I missed the Japanese score by 30 points. So, who knows what will happen? I wonder if that Robert is the same person? - J5983 12:26, 18 January 2006 (PST)
You should upload your score to the Japanese scoreboards. Put us English-speaking people on the map :D - Akuun 07:39, 19 January 2006 (PST)
- Ha ha, I might...a lot of the middle levels don't have real scores on them. Kind of lazy though. - J5983 13:53, 19 January 2006 (PST)
Anyone knows what's the deal with the random scoring? Often I get better multipliers but worse scores. Is there some hidden factor? Sometimes I even get a lower score when I max the risk shot and multipliers --Saros 06:19, 23 January 2006 (PST)
- Well, there's also the base score to consider. Maybe you're taking longer setting up when you go for the bonuses, giving the frame a chance to shrink much and therefore getting less bullets in the shot? - JSeabolt
Good point, however I don't hold the shoot button. I think you're right about the # of bullets thing though. Now that I look at the replay again, it's slightly off compared to the first shot. Thanks for that --Saros 15:27, 23 January 2006 (PST)
- I think it's based off of not just bullet number, but also bullet spread. Take a spellcard like 8-3. I've counted. The bullets at the beginning are always in the same number. If I get the same multipliers, my score can vary, and it is always higher if I took a picture when the bullets took up more of the space on the photo. This is a danmaku photography game, after all. Taking a shot of 100 bullets in one space is not as thrilling as 100 bullets spread all over the picture, so the latter is probably worth more. Or at least, it seems to be. - JadeCicada
Any one here have been tried to achieve the lowest score in each level? --Luzi82 08:24, 11 February 2006 (PST)
