Nazrin is the second Touhou game boss who speeds up attacks in her last spellcard, the previous example being Rumia in the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Wrong. I think "misspell" is not correct, because they mistake not only spelling but also pronunciation and the similarity of the pronunciation is an important factor in this joke rather than spelling. - It is really so~? In medieval Japanese language, mouse or rat was called as "nezu". So that is deliberate misspelling, I'm sure. Rather, I've felt it odd that the sound of Nazrin's neme is expressed as ナズーリン in hiragana, [nazɯ ̚ ːɾiɴ] in IPA — Normal Japanese language don't allow a single consonant changing into "consonant + long vowel" although allows "consonant + short vowel". --Masuo64 16:28, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

- I don't know why ZUN used a long vowel, but I know he's sometimes used odd katakana spelling. I guess he may use it for high impact, as the Japanese sometimes do so such as "キヤノン (Cannon)" and "バトルロワイアル (battle royal)", or modify it for the Japanese to pronounce it easily such as "ラジオ (Radio)" and "タバコ (tobacco)". - Do you always pronounce a word in reading sentence on the screen? What is changed is just the letter "ナ” on the screen, from dajare of "nazu-rin" & "nezu", or "nezumi". Then misspelling might well be allowed (not the best), I think. If you even have some complain, show us a upgrading sentence once on this page or the main article! And as I'm also a Japanese person, I want to tell you "キヤノン", "ロワイアル", "ラジオ" and "タバコ" are never, never, never odd spelling from the view of the system to spell Japanese word. Japanese spelling system is quite more complicated than you're knowing. And what might be odd is how they recognize the sound of foreing languages, how they achieve a loan word from foreign languages, and how they pronouce it as word of their own language. The existance of various spelling systems is the proof that the ancestors of present Japanese people struggled to write a foreign word only in katakana, their original letters, from their sense of sound. - I'll argue that "misspell" is the correct word to use. If you make the spelling wrong, even on purpose, you're still misspelling something. I'm also with Masuo64 regarding the romanization of this character's name being "Nazrin" despite the extended vowel in the kana spelling. Where the heck did the "Nazrin is jealous of Hijiri because Shou likes her more" crap come from? I've never seen anything of the sort that even insinuates that. First of all, the implication that Nazrin has a thing for Shou is entirely fan-based, and the same with Shou having a thing for Byakuren. The relationship between the Palanquin crew and Byakuren is one of undying gratitude and respect, not of teenage crushes and petty rivalries. I'd like to be pointed to at least one work that might have something to do with that. Closest I can see is that Shou is often paired with either Nazrin or Byakuren; but the other never really has much to do with the opposing relationship anyways.

Symposium of Post-mysticism states that Nazrin doesn't spend the majority of her time at the Myouren Temple, in fact, it says she only goes there when Shou calls for her. In addition, Symposium mentions that she has a small house by the Muenzuka that she stays in because it's "scattered with things from the outside world".
So, should the location not be changed to Muenzuka with Myouren Temple in brackets as an addition or something? I wanted to ask if this is ok before just going ahead and doing so, thanks. I may go ahead and change it later if I don't get a response though. --Hakurou 23:15, June 11, 2012 (UTC)
- So I quickly check Nazrin's page on SoPM again and but it actually kinda says 'The Whole of Gensokyo' then that she has a house in Muenzuka. I don't have a problem with the edit, although we don't actually have a proper page for Muenzuka and only the Perfect Memento article. Is it good enough to just link the Perfect Memento article or actually make a proper page about Muenzuka? ^^; --AlannahFujiwara 06:12, June 12, 2012 (UTC)
I don't think linking it to a Perfect Memento article will be good enough, but if a Muenzuka article was made I feel it would be better than Myouren Temple (Though it is partially true). What could be done is just making a link to an uncreated page giving others incentive to make it, but that's unlikely. As much as I want to make the Muenzuka article, I'm admittedly terrible at starting with a clean slate ;^^ I could use the other Touhou Wiki (Touhou wiki "dot" net, spam filter won't let me type it out for whatever reason), which is what I use to make the actual Symposium articles, and change the information around a bit I suppose. Many of that location articles from that site and this one seem similar enough to each other anyway, from what I've seen.
