ちょうwwww tpazolite: 某所でGhostly Parapara Shipの英訳見つけたけど「いろんなやつ」を「many guys」って訳すのは夢がなくなるので勘弁してほしい
Translation?: "I found an English translation for Ghostly Parapara Ship somewhere, but I'll allow it as "いろんなやつ" translated to "many guys" killed my dream." I really don't get the meaning though. NForza 06:22, January 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Probably he suspects the translation (of mine) has a gap. The lyrics shows Minamitsu is in melancholy to be interrupted in danmaku battle by humans. They must be girls. That's the point. "Yatsu" (奴) was originally used for men, but in a present Japanese some people use it for women (of course it's quite a dirty usage). I tried to think such a little aggressive word to be used for both man and woman, but I can't find. I've heard "guys" can be used as the address for both genders, so I put it. I also thought "people" might be better, but it's not dirty or pejorative. Could you tell me what word is better? --Masuo64 18:17, January 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, maybe "jerks" or "punks" would work. I put in "jerks" for now. Also, now that I know the complete context for the last line, I changed it into something possibly a little more appropriate. It seems to be a line asking the listener or whoever if they are prepared to die, so I used a line that reflects that. NForza 09:27, January 17, 2010 (UTC)
