Symbol(?)
The pendant on Letty's chest- What is it? The closest thing I know is the alchemical symbol for silver (at least, one of them). However, hers has replaced the solid triangle with a cross shape and has another arrow pointing down. I know alchemical symbols are vague and subject to interpretation, but I've never seen one that looked like that. Additionally, the pendant itself is gold, not silver, and Luna, which silver symbolizes, seems to have no relation to Letty.
Additonally... ...Letty's name is not just based on Letty Blacklock from 'A Murder is Announced', her entire character is. If you've read the book, you'll know what I mean. <spoiler>Although Letty is actually Lotty for most of the book, in the end she is described as 'Always knowing what's right'. This is exactly why Letty (Whiterock) didn't use her full power in stage 1- she knew winter had to end, and knew Reimu/Marisa/Sakuya was going to end it, or she at least could see the spring they were collecting.</spoiler> Alice Margatroid is similarly based off of Amy Murgatroyd, although an Amalgation of her and Alice(in wonderland). This also desiscively proves her tsundere nature- "...Put them up, please." 71.246.250.130 21:23, 9 October 2008 (UTC)A Nameless Fairy
edit: Oh, there actually is no horizontal bar on the pendant. Half the fan-generated content depicts it that way, but there is no cross. Also, I meant the symbol for Argentum, not Luna. The astological symbol was used in alchemy but that's not the one I'm talking about. Letty is not fat! 71.246.250.130 18:46, 10 October 2008 (UTC)A Nameless Fairy
- I just realized, silver does have something to do with Letty. Her theme, Crystallized Silver. It doesn't seem like much, but the title is in english, which means he meant that exact wording, and if you read the comment it seems like it might have been a subtle touch by ZUN. Just a trifle (always wanted to say that), but I'll add this to the fun facts.
