I have a download link for the font files. Can I give it? --Dodoecchi 11:32, December 12, 2009 (UTC)
- That shouldn't be necessary, since they're in the patch archive. -- Qazmlpok 15:41, December 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Oh that's right. I forgot I download from another source. --Dodoecchi 16:01, December 12, 2009 (UTC)
"The text is floating randomly around the screen!"
Wait what? Got a screenshot of that? Whatever it is, I doubt I'd be able to fix it, since I can't fathom a way I could have caused it myself. -- Qazmlpok 21:15, December 12, 2009 (UTC)
Display Problems
Whenever I try playing Touhou Labyrinth, It always crashes, even if i have the fonts installed. The only way it works is if i play in 256 colors mode, and on windowed, but the text is so hard to see it makes the game not worth playing. Any help? Also, my video card is NVIDIA GeForce 5800 or something like that.
same problem here...nvidea geforce 9800GT,windows 7 ultimate x32,no matter if installed the patch, always the same problem but im sure i did everything right,it crashed and i got a message telling me (trying to translate from german to english,ay not be 100 percent accurate...) The displaydriver "NVIDEA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 195.62" doesnt react anymore and the was restored all other japanese games run for me,i also tried playing around with various settings in windows and installing the newest graphic driver but nothing seems to help :/ maybe it helps if i describe it more accurate: i start the game windowed(fullscreen has the same problem) and a black window shos up,my whole screen begins to flicker...then i hear music a few seconds adn then i get the message from widnows i have written above and a little window pops up telling me that touhou labyrint isnt working...sometimes i even can see some pixels on the black screen and just now,1 of the 100 tries to run the game,i even saw something that looked like the background of the main menu (without any fonts and the image wasnt centered...most part of the screen still was black) i think its just incompatible with nvidea geforce? i think so because of that flickering...
I reinstalled my Windows some time ago and chose the 32 bit version, the game is running normal...sp the problem is the 64 bit version which cant run 32 bit programms ;) Someone should write this Problem and the cause on the troubleshooting site...?
Yup. Win7 x64 here. It's either Microsoft or Nvidia's fault and we'll just have to wait for a fix from whichever is responsible or for the game's creator to patch it so it's Win7 friendly. (RosenKreuzStilette had the same problem but a newly released patch resolves that problem.)
Game is too friggin' fast
I'm playing this game under Wine[1]. It actually runs fine, no problems at all, except the fps.
I don't know how many frames per second it runs out but it must be over 9000, it's completely unplayable, the lightest and quickest tapping I can manage to pull off registers as two-three pressings of a button. If I push the down arrow to navigate a menu, it goes all the way down, wraps back up, and goes down again two steps, with just one tap.
I have absolutely no idea what is causing this, or how to slow it down; the problem is the same regardless of whether I play in full-screen or windowed mode: I can't read the dialogue because it always skips one or two steps every time I press the button, and can't navigate the dungeon because not only I have a hard time entering corridors, but I also can't make less than 5 squares per tap.
Anyone else tried to run this under Wine and succeeded? Anyone else had fps issues like this?
