The Road of Liminality (中有の道) is the road in Gensokyo that leads to the Sanzu River. Despite being mainly traversed by ghosts and spirits, the road has many merchant's stands that attract both the living and the dead to buy their wares. The road's purpose is to fund hell through the living and spirits, including those not sentenced to hell.
