A summary about Reimu goes here.
Fun Facts
Reimu has appeared in every single game in the Touhou series.
Reimu was never seen flying with her own power until Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. In the previous games, if Reimu needed to go somewhere far, she would ride on her turtle familiar, Genjii.
Reimu might be eternal...? It's implied by one song from Highly Responsive to Prayers, "Eien no Miko" (永遠の巫女). Either way, with her lively personality there's no sign she'll die anytime soon.
Reimu's yin-yang exhibits some strange powers, aside from helping her attack her enemies. The greatest powers of the Hakurei yin-yang are:
Shrine Maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, and the protagonist of Touhou series. While she looks like easygoing, in the truth, she is quite easygoing.
She lives in the shrine that rarely anyone visits there, that makes her very unworldly.
She thinks that she is only wiping sparks that falls upon her, but her roll results in preventing habitant of Gensokyo from visiting human's villages, and keeping outsiders away from wondering into Gensokyo.
Amulets and Ying-Yang orb are her weapons. She also has ability that can fly.
Hakurei Shrine's Shrine Maiden, and protagonist. Her brain appears like normal, but in fact it's full of spring-like thought.
The shrine is always haunted by youkais, and they're very friendly to Reimu as well.
That makes her hardly filling the role of being a Shrine Maiden.
She hates training, and of course lacks training. So her skill is quite so-so.
She hates to do her very best at anything that falls upon her.
That's due to she doesn't believe in the theory of effort will be reworded.
Because of that, Hakurei Shrine's paper fortune doesn't have "末吉".
Amulets and the Ying-Yang orb are her weapon. Add on that, she has ability that is able to fly.
She has smaller hit-box, and her focused movement allows player to dodge very precisely.
Numen Sign's "Hakurei Amulet" is quite easy to use. It allows you to focus on dodging bullets.
On the other hand, Dream Sign's "Extermination" is at top of damage dealing in all playables.
It can even kill bosses instantly, but invulnerable-time from bomb is shortest of all characters, and also lacks in both effective radius and damage.
Basically, she is a shrine maiden. The Shrine Maiden of Hakurei Shrine, which is located at edge of Gensokyo. Hakurei Shrine exists in both Gensokyo and outside at the same time.
The boundary is precincts of the shrine. From both side, it's located at most remote place from human village, and also is kinda small, and has no known history or benefits. So it's no wonder that it rarely gets any visitor.
Inside the shrine, almost all border/barrier will be nullified. That says how the power of the Hakurei Border, the border between outside and Gensokyo, is strong.
Only members of Hakurei has rule to follow in Gensokyo. Due to that, Reimu always wear clothes that apparently is some kind of uniform (She's supposed to have many other rule too, though...).
Her daily life consists of wearing Red-White, and drinking tea while staring at Gensokyo's sky from edge of Gensokyo.
Originally, Reimu has several mysterious power, but she neither showoff nor take advantage from that. It's kind of let everything as really is.
Usual shrine maiden from Hakurei Shrine. She always live on ideas from right off the top of her head, and doesn't consider something seriously. Only thing she do that actually resembles shrine maiden is, enjoying tea and carefully life at veranda.
She is quite simple minded, thus when she's angry she's angry, and when she smiles she smiles. Her hiding-nothing personality makes her well-liked by both humans and youkais. Due to that, many people stays closely to the shrine.
She lacks training in both melee and chants (or rather should I say she rarely does), but she covers that up with numerous talent she's born with. So she's quite tough, enough to makes you suspect that if she's really a human. While she warps or use guided shots, it's all straight from her perspective. Mean shrine maiden.
She is the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, which is located at edge of Gensokyo and (possibly) has ancient and honourable origin.
She is emotive and noisy, and has presence at wherever she is, but she merges into that atmosphere quite easily.
Her ability is being able to fly, that means, Weightless.
All gravity from Earth, however big stress, or threatings with power has no effect to her.
Both her mind and body floats around sky of phantasm, that's really mysterious shrine maiden.
However intimidating the opponent is, that doesn't matter to her.
As she planarize whatever title one has, she tends to attract anyone regardless of species, like human or youkai.
Her weapons are amulets and Ying-Yang orb. She is also prefered by mosquitos.
Species: Human
Ability: Mainly able to fly through the sky
As usual, the shrine maiden you all know. She lives in the Hakurei Shrine located at the boundary that separates Gensokyo from the outer world. The shrine simultaneously exists in both worlds.
She treats everyone fairly and equally, which makes her well-liked by even the most terrifying youkais. On the flip side, she doesn't treat anyone especially well and doesn't hold anyone "special". While she's often seen with a wide assortment of humans and youkai, and does get along with them, she's truly alone in her heart.
She may be kind of cold-hearted...
The morning that she was expecting to see after a full night's sleep did not greet her. She thought that something very strange was going on, so she left the shrine to investigate. It's not unusual for her to go out at night, but going out at midnight just after having taken a full night's rest was most unusual. Anyway, nights always make her sleepy, so she'll be going back to bed once the issue is resolved. She followed a trace of power into a bamboo forest, and what she found were very familiar faces...
