- Literally "entering the road".
- Monk (a person who entered the road to Buddha).
- Bald headed person like Buddhist monk.
- Youkai that has bald head or Buddhist monk's shape. (example: o-nyuudou, mikoshi-nyuudou, wa-nyuudou)
