Marisa	妖怪以外にも怯えるぜ	I'm afraid of other things, too.
Minoriko	あんたが向かおうとしている場所は 今までの妖怪とは訳が違うわね	Where you're trying to go, the youkai are very different from those you've seen before.
Marisa	それは楽しみだな お前も妖怪より強いんだろう？	That sounds like fun. So, you're stronger than youkai, right?
Minoriko	私はただの八百万の一の神 この先は、神様がごろごろしているんだから	I'm just one amongst the multitudes of gods. There are many more here just like me.

Marisa	こうやって闘いながら進むと 山は遠いんだな 山に辿り着く前に円周率を暗唱出来そうだ	If I have to keep fighting like this, I'll never make it to the mountain. I could recite all the digits of pi before I got there.
???	あらあらまだ居たの？	Oh, are you still here?

Marisa	産医師異国に向こう...... ......御社に蟲さんざん	"How I like a drink, alcoholic of course, after the light skirmish involving danmaku exchanges." (The original Japanese text is a common mnemonic for pi, which when read loosely, sounds like "three one four one five nine (etc)". The literal translation is "An obstetrician goes abroad... The shrine's full of bugs". The translation here is a slight corruption of a famous English mnemonic, which actually ends "...after the heavy lectures involving quantum mechanics.")

Marisa	誰だ？ 見ない顔だな	Ah, a new face. Who're you?
Hina	きっと会ったけど 私はここで厄を集めている	I'm sure we've met before, but I'm just here to gather misfortune, now.
	秘神流し雛 鍵山　雛	Hidden God Doll of Curses Hina Kagiyama (流し雛 (Nagashi-bina) refers to the paper and straw dolls floated down rivers to carry away curses and bad luck.)
Marisa	それはえんがちょだな	Hm, better keep my fingers crossed then.
Hina	えんがちょの向こう側に私が居るから 人間は平和に暮らせるのよ 山は人間の立ち入る所じゃない	It's because I cross my fingers for you that humans can live in peace. The mountain is no place for mortals.
Marisa	これから盛大に盛り上がってくる所だぜ 邪魔するな	Oh, but it's just starting to get good. Stay out of my way.
Hina	あらゆる災厄が降りかかるわよ 人間を守る為にも行かせるものか！	Every disaster will befall you. I can't let you pass, even to protect humans!

Hina	うーん	Oof...
Marisa	......御社に蟲さんざん...... この続き、何だっけ？	"...after the light skirmish involving danmaku exchanges..." What comes after this, again?
Hina	何言ってるのか判らないわよ 山に行きたいってあんた本当に人間なの？	I don't understand what you're saying. Wanting to go to the mountain... are you really human?
Marisa	神社が蟲だらけになって...... ま、そうやって円周率を憶えるが人間だ 故に人間だぜ	How I'd like a drink... Well, anyway, only humans would memorise pi. Therefore, I'm human.

Stage 3

Nitori	げげ、人間！？	Gah, a human!?

Marisa	おお？ 逃げられた	Huh? She got away.

Nitori	あーあ、私の光学迷彩スーツが壊れちゃった	Awww, my optical camoflauge suit broke!
Marisa	壊したんだよ 何もんだ？	You mean, I broke it. Who are you?
Nitori	人間の癖に私の姿がよく見えたわよ	You're human, but you still picked me out pretty well.
Marisa	全然隠れなかったぜ むしろ目立ってた	You weren't hidden at all. You really stood out.
Nitori	じゃあねー人間 ちなみにこれ以上来ると危険だよー	See you, human! By the way, it's dangerous if you go any further!

Marisa	人の話を聞けよ	Are you even listening to me?
	Nitori Kawashiro ENTERS
Nitori	お、さっきの人間 奥に進むなって言ったでしょ？	Hey, it's that human from before. Didn't I tell you not to go further in?
Marisa	何なんだ？ 山の妖怪はお前みたいな奴ばかりなのか？	What are you talking about? Are all the youkai in the mountain like you?
Nitori	ごめんごめん 人間を実際に見たのは久しぶりだから 新作の光学迷彩スーツの実験を してみたかっただけよ	Ha ha, sorry about that, it's just been so long since I've actually seen a human. I just wanted to give my new optic camo suit a test run.
Marisa	実験台にしようったあ、光栄だ どんどん実験台にしてくれ	You want to make me a test subject? What an honour. Please, perform your experiments on me.
Nitori	それと、これ以上山には入るのは 危険だから追い返そうと思ってね 悪いこたぁ言わない 引き返せ	Well, anyway, the mountain gets dangerous from here in, so I thought I'd chase you away. Let me tell you straight up... Just leave, already.

Marisa	引き返せって言われたら進みたくなるな お前だって、立ち入り禁止の立て札を 見たら入りたくなるだろう？	If you say that, it just makes me want to go on. C'mon, doesn't a big "KEEP OUT" sign just make you want to see what's behind it?

Nitori	ならいないよ ならないからさっさと帰れ	No It doesn't. It doesn't, so go home.
Marisa	みんなで追い返そうとするんだもんな こうなったらう行ける所まで行くぜ	Seems like everyone's just trying to chase me away. If that's how it is, I've just got to keep on going forward.
	Nitori Kawashiro DEFEATED
Nitori	つ、強い……こんな奴に負けるなんて……	S-strong...to lose to this kind of person...
Marisa	さあ行くぜ山の上まで	Now, up the mountain I go.
Nitori	元気な人間よ。河童と人間は古来からの盟友だから教えてやる	You're an energetic human. Kappa and humans have been sworn friends since ancient times, so let me tell you something..
Marisa	負けた奴が盟友とか言うのはちゃんちゃらおかしいぜ	For the loser to claim to be a sworn friend is a little strange.
Nitori	最近、山の上に不穏な神が居着いている そのお陰で、我々河童も天狗様も何か腹の収まりが悪いんだ	Recently, a threatening god has taken up residence at the top of the mountain. Thanks to that, us kappa and tengu have been bothered.
Marisa	それは何か？調べて解決して欲しいって言うフリか？	What are you saying? You want me to go look into this for free?
Nitori	おっと、話しすぎたね後はお好きにしてねぇ	Ah, I've said too much, don't worry about it.
Marisa	ふん。滝が見えてきたなこれからが本番だぜ	Hmm. From this waterfall the game is on!

Stage 4

	要塞の山	The Mountain Fortress

Aya	あやややや 侵入者の報告で来てみれば まさか貴女とは......	Ayayayaya... Thought I'd come and take a look after hearing about an intruder, But I never thought it'd be you ...
Marisa	お、いつぞやの天狗 丁度いいぜ、この先を案内してくれ	Oh, hey, it's the tengu from back then. Perfect timing. Won't you show me the way in?
Aya	残念、私は侵入者を追い返しに来たのよ そもそも、何処に案内すれば良いのやら	Too bad for you, I came to chase the intruder away. I wonder where you wanted me to take you anyway?
Marisa	聞いたぜ、山の上に変な神様が住み始めたん だって？ 私はそいつを倒しに来た勇者だ ガンガン行く勇者だぜ	You've heard about that strange god that came to live on top of the mountain, right? I'm the hero that's come to beat her. I'm the hero, going forth with a bang.
Aya	ほう、そんな話、誰から聞いたのかしら？	Ho, I wonder who you heard that story from?
Marisa	誰からだったかな、もう忘れたが...... そんなでその神様の所まで行きたいんだ	Hm, I wonder, I already forgot who it was ... Anyway, I want to go see that god.
Aya	うふふ 私は貴女の自由にさせてあげたいわ	Ahaha, I'd love to let you have your way ...
	BGM: 妖怪の山　～ Mysterious Mountain	BGM: The Youkai Mountain ~ Mysterious Mountain
Aya	でも、私は貴女を通す訳に行かないの 私があっさり通しちゃったら 見回り天狗達も納得がいかないからね	But, there's no way I can let you pass. Even if I simply let you through, The tengu patrolling around here wouldn't stand for it.
Marisa	何でだよ 良いじゃないから、天狗には迷惑かけないぜ	What the heck? It'll be fine, those tengu won't bother me!
Aya	私は上司の命令でここを通すなと 言われてるの 組織に属するってのは 自分の意味だけでは動けなくなるって事よ さあ、手加減してあげるから、 本気で掛かってきなさい！	I have orders from above to not let you pass. Belonging to an organization means that sometimes you don't get to do what you want. Now, I'll go easy on you, So let's go ahead and do this!
Marisa	手加減なんてしけた事言わなくても良いぜ どうせなら不戦敗で良いじゃん	Hey, no need to talk about going easy on me. How about a forfeit instead?
	Aya Shameimaru DEFEATED
Aya	まじめに闘った事って殆ど無かったけど 予想以上の強さだったわ これなら、あの厄介な神様も倒せるかもね	Even though I don't have to fight seriously that often, you were stronger than I thought. At this rate, maybe you could even beat that pain of a god.
Marisa	ああ、お前らの代わりに倒してきてやるよ でも、その神様は何をして 天狗や河童に嫌がられてるんだ？	Don't worry, I'll take care of her for you. But, what is that god doing That's gotten all you tengu and kappa to hate her so much?
Aya	......河童？ もしかしてその話、河童に聞いたのね？ 簡単に言うと、山を自分の物にしようと しているから、古参の私達にはうざいだけ	... kappa? You heard that story from a kappa, didn't you? To put it simply, she's just come and started acting like this mountain is hers, which is a pain to those of us who've been here all this while.
Marisa	何だよ、お前ら天狗たっで勝手に山を 自分のものにしてるじゃん そのお陰で人間が近づけないしさ	What are you talking about? Aren't you tengu just doing the same thing? Humans don't go near the mountain thanks to you.
Aya	それでも、新しく入ってきても天狗に敬意も 払わないのよ？	Maybe, but can't the newcomer at least show us some respect?
Marisa	なんだかなぁ。ま、良いぜ、とりあえず その神様の所まで案内しな	Maybe she could. Well, time to take me to where she is.

Stage 5

	霊山に風が吹く	A Wind Blows on the Sacred Mountain

Sanae	神社に来て暴れるとは何事なの！	What's the meaning of you storming into my shrine like this!
Marisa	神社だって！？　こんな山の上に？ そう言えば、そんな雰囲気だけど......	A shrine!? On top of a mountain? Well, I guess it's kind of got that atmosphere ...
Sanae	ここは守矢の神社 忘れ去られた過去の神社 外の世界から神社と湖ごと幻想郷に 移動してきたのよ	This is the Moriya Shrine, A long-forgotten shrine of the past. It was moved into Gensokyo together with the lake you see here.
Marisa	あんた、誰？ まさか巫女？	Who are you? Wait ... shrine maiden?
	祀られる風の人間 東風谷　早苗	Human of the Wind Deified Sanae Kochiya
Sanae	私は風祝　（かぜはふり）　の早苗 外の世界では絶え果てた現人神の末裔 まぁ巫女といえば巫女みたいなもんね	I'm Sanae, the wind priestess, descendent of a long-forgotten line of gods incarnate in the outside world. Well, I guess you could call me something like a shrine maiden.
Marisa	そうか、巫女って職業みたいなもんだったな 霊夢の事かと勘違いする所だったぜ	Oh, so "shrine maiden" is actually the name of a job ... I was about to start thinking it just meant "Reimu".
Sanae	それで、貴方は何者ですか？ 参拝客には見えないのですが......	So then, who are you? You don't look like a pilgrim to the shrine ...
Marisa	私は魔法使いの魔理沙 悪の神様を懲らしめる麓のヒーロー 河童や天狗達も纏めて懲らしめる 何でも屋さ	I'm the magician, Marisa! I'm the hero at the foot of the mountain, come to beat up the evil god. We also take care of kappa and tengu. We're an anything-goes kind of shop.
Sanae	麓には変は人間がいた物ね それで、私も懲らしめるって言うの？	There sure are a lot of strange people here. So, are you going to punish me, as well?
	BGM: 信仰は儚き人間の為に	BGM: Faith is for the Transient People
Marisa	懲らしめるぜ 悪い神様みたいだからな	I sure am. You look like an evil god to me.
Sanae	いいわ 貴方に代わって私が懲らしめましょう	Well, that's okay. Why don't I do the punishing for you, instead?
Marisa	私はあんたを懲らしめるんだぜ？ 誰を懲らしめるんだよ	What are you talking about? I'm punishing you. Who do you think you're going to take care of?
Sanae	貴方に決まってるじゃない 現人神の力で懲らしめてあげましょう 奇跡を起こす神の力で！	Why, you, of course. I'll punish you with the powers of a living god ... With god's power to create miracles!
	Sanae Kochiya DEFEATED
Sanae	強い...... 何でも屋なんて油断させておいて 実は本物のヒーローか何か？	You're strong ... Your "anything goes shop" act really threw me. Are you really some sort of hero?
Marisa	だから、何でも屋だぜ 天狗や河童達もあんたらを嫌っていたぜ	I told you, we're an anything-goes shop, and the tengu and the kappa were getting sick of you.
Sanae	私はただ、山の神様である八坂様に この山を御神体にして頂きたかっただけ それが、この地に棲む妖怪や人間にとって 幸せな事になると......	All I wanted was for people to revere this mountain in the name of Lady Yasaka, the goddess of mountains. I thought that the humans and youkai that lived here would like that ...
Marisa	そんなことぁ無いから、さ、最後の親玉に あわせるんだな	Of course they wouldn't, so why don't you take me to see the last player here?
Sanae	え！？ もしかして八坂様にも会われるつもりなの？	What!? Could you mean you wish to see Lady Yasaka?
Marisa	悪い事する神様を懲らしめないとな	You've got to scold a god when they act up.

Stage 6

	あヽ風の神よ神湖の地に	Ah, the God of Wind on the Grounds of the Divine Lake

Marisa	山の上にこんな大きな湖とはな...... 出てきな 空気の読めない神様よ	Who'd have thought there'd be such a huge lake on top of a mountain ... Come on out, You oblivious god!
	Kanako Yasaka ENTERS
Kanako	我を呼ぶのは何処の人ぞ	Who is it that calls for me?
Marisa	お前か？　山を我が物にしようとしたり 麓の神社を乗っ取ろうとしている神様は 懲らしめに来たぜ	Is it you? That god who's acting like the mountain's hers and taking over the shrine at the foot of the mountain ... I came to punish you!
Kanako	...... へぇ、面白いわね 幻想郷には変わった人間も居るのね	...... Hm, how interesting. There certainly are strange people in Gensokyo.
Marisa	そんな訳で、山に居座るには天狗や河童達 とも仲良くしてやってくれないと－－ 誰かが困るんだ！ きっと	So, you see, if you don't try hard to get along with the tengu and kappa that live in the mountain -- Somebody'll get in trouble! For sure.
Kanako	山は私自身であり 山は私への信仰の対象です 幻想郷にはめぼしい山がここしか無かった のですから この山に住んでいる者が私を信仰しないの なら仕方がありません	The mountain itself is me. The mountain is the object of worship of me. After all, this is the only such magnificent mountain in all of Gensokyo ... I can't help it if those who live here already don't have faith in me.
Marisa	お、幻想郷から立ち退く気か？	Oh, thinking about leaving Gensokyo?
	山坂と湖の権化 八坂　神奈子	Avatar of the Mountain and Lake Kanako Yasaka
	BGM: 神さびた古戦場　～ ~ Suwa Foughten Field	BGM: The Venerable Ancient Battlefield ~ Suwa Foughten Field
Kanako	神の信仰に邪魔する者は 一つ一つ排除しなければいけません	A god must eliminate all who oppose their struggle for faith, one by one.
Marisa	そこまでして信仰に拘るのは 何故なんだ？ 今の幻想郷に神様なんて必要ないぜ	Why are you so worried about faith all the time? Gensokyo doesn't need any gods these days.
Kanako	信仰が失われると、幻想郷は混沌と し始めるでしょう 信仰の意味は、信仰していない人には 判らない	Were Gensokyo to completely lose its faith, surely it would be thrown into chaos? Those without any faith of their own can never understand the meaning of faith.
Marisa	神社なら毎日の様に行ってるがな	By the way, I go to a shrine every day.
Kanako	信仰が失われた神社はただの小屋 貴方は毎日の様に小屋に通っているだけ 貴方は一度－－ 神の荒ぶる御魂を味わうと良い！	If a shrine loses its faith, it becomes nothing but a simple shack. Now, you, who only goes to visit such a shack every day-- Experience this once the raging soul of a god!
