20F: Unlock all the seals, then defeat Maribel Han Ver. 2
She will show up in the Scarlet Devil Mansion (post-game)
Play Notes
A fairly disappointing character considering the effort needed to recruit her. Renko has mediocre stats aside from passable HP, only average affinities, and poor status resistances. Galaxy Stop, her "only" attack spell, does ignore MND and provides a useful debuff, but Renko's MAG stat isn't high enough to keep its damage up; in fact, her MAG needs to stay somewhat low since Charge actually hurts your party. It's up to you to decide whether a strong party buff is worth taking damage and lowering your attack gauges.

Play Notes
Maribel's play style uses her self-buffing spell, then using any other of her spells until her buffs are off and then re-buff herself again with Overflowing Unnatural Power. Despite her low stats, her spells deal decent damage like several others could if you increase her MAG (and ATK for Liberated Abilities) stats. But because of this, FIR, MYS, powerful attacks that uses DEF and Status effects can mow her down quite easily... Nonetheless she is damage dealer, she's good against enemies with low SPR, MYS, WND resistance or low MND. Keep in mind that Liberated Abilites is a composite spell - meaning that the enemy requires very high DEF and MND to null it. It's best to put her in 3rd or 4th slot if you are using her.

Recruitment
21F: Recruit Kanako
21F - 24F: Find events to set up Control Rods, one on each floor
21F: Return to where Utsuho is held and defeat her
Play Notes
Utsuho is somewhat similar to Flandre in playstyle, despite being very different on paper. For one, Utsuho isn't terribly durable, and aside from excellent debuff resistance has almost no protection from statuses. Half of her affinities are excellent as well, notably FIR, while the other three are dismal. You can't toss her onto the front lines and expect her to take abuse; switch her in to use her powerful spells and get her out. Giga Flare in particular is an expensive but powerful addition to your arsenal of MND-ignoring attacks.

Recruitment
1-20F: Achieve 3 stars
21F: Find an event regarding a sigil and Kanako. Then find Kanako
Play Notes
Yet another "more damage" character, Kanako is similar to Yukari in that she has good HP and defenses, so she can take a few good hits. She also has excellent affinities and mostly good ailment resistance, although she's prone to debuffs or instant death. Offensively, Misayama Hunting Ritual targets the enemies' DEF, allowing her to fight high MND enemies easily, and Mad Dance on Medoteko is composite, though it doesn't factor much of the enemy's DEF and Kanako's ATK isn't great to start with. Kanako's strength is being able to last a while in the front line and deal respectable damage while out there.
Removes stat debuffs for all allies. In-game description says it is a single target spell, but it is multi-target

Recruitment
1-20F: Achieve 3 stars
21F - 23F: Find a sunflower, rhododendron and daisy
24F: Use the 3 flowers to get to Yuka's location, and defeat her
Play Notes
Yuka's stats are quite odd. She has good ATK but it has no use whatsoever. Her spells are MAG based. Her DEF is good but her MND isn't. Otherwise, she is useful in a lot of ways. Yuka can spam Flower Shot when fighting one enemy. While Gensokyo's Reflowering can be useful while you don't have time to send Reimu for healing. And Beauty of Nature damages enemy while removing allies' debuffs. Her Master Spark also has the same element as Marisa's. But Yuka's Master Spark is quite weaker but can damage all enemies, which is more useful when doing boss fights that has enemies more than 1. Meanwhile, she is also prone to Silence, Death, Debuffs, FIR and CLD elements. Otherwise Yuka is a MAG powerhouse that can heal and remove debuffs.

Play Notes
Mystia, although average at first glance, can be an incredibly useful character. Her attacks are quite powerful, but her ability as an attacker is limited by her low SP growth, mediocre stats, and terrible affinities. However, Mystia's true worth comes as a hit-and-run character. She has good speed growth, which allows her to get the first attack in random enemy encounters if boosted high enough. This, coupled with Poisonous Moth's Dark Dance, can prevent some of the most dangerous enemies from attacking at all; its long-lasting paralysis can allow the rest of the party to catch up while the poison drains HP. Mysterious Song's unique ability to change status debuffs into buffs can be very effective against debuff-happy enemies or bosses, and her stellar ailment resistances make her all but invincible against such attacks. All in all, Mystia is a hidden gem who shouldn't be overlooked; she can be a valuable asset, especially on the upper floors.
