Sakuya	何言ってるのですか、私は心配してるのですよ。 また、さっきみたいな虫が現れたら……	What are you saying? I worry about your safety. Moreover, what if the bug we saw earlier shows up again...

Remilia	八割減ね。	80% smaller, actually. ["八割減" means "Cutting 80% off". "五分" equals "0.5寸"; "一分" is "0.1寸". 0.5 devided by 0.1 equals 5. As Remilia said, 0.1 (what Sakuya said) is 5 times fewer than 0.5, that's to say, 80% fewer.]
Wriggle	もしかして、物騒な話？	Are you trying to intimidate me?
Sakuya	いえ、殺生な話。	No, we're trying to kill you.
Remilia	良いのよ、私は人間以外には興味が無いから。	Don't worry, I'm not interested in non-humans anyway.
Sakuya	興味が無いから心配なのですよ。 人間なら食料で済むかも知れないけど、 それ以下だと……。 はぁ、無慈悲にも程があります。	Her disinterest is just more reason to worry. If you were human, you'd at least be treated as food. She's the Lady without mercy, after all. [Remilia is a light eater, so even if she feeds off a human, she won't take enough blood to cause death. As long as it's human, Remilia only sees it as just food, so she won't kill it...]

Sakuya	途中で話題を変えたのですよ。お嬢様。	I changed the subject, Lady.
Remilia	後半しか伝わらなかったわ。 何が言いたかったのかしらね。	I only heard the second half. What were you trying to say?

Stage 2

Wandering into darkness

	人間の消える道	Path of Human Disappearings
	人間の通り道も、真夜中に出歩くものは獣か妖怪位。 少なくとも人の姿が見える筈も無い。	At midnight, only beasts and youkai are around the human pass. There aren't any human-like forms to be seen.

Mystia	ちょ、ちょっと待って～！	Wait, waaaait!
Sakuya	急いでるのよ。 動きながらなら聞いてあげるわ。	We're in a hurry. I'll listen if you follow us.
Mystia	言っても止まらないくせに。 でも、人間と蝙蝠。不思議な組み合わせね。	So you won't stop even if I ask. ...A human and a bat? That's an unusual pair.

Mystia	人間は欲しいけど、そいつはいらない。	Humans are what I'm after, though, not bats.
Remilia	ふん。餓鬼が夜遊びか？	Hmph. Is it the brats' night out?
Mystia	勿論、夜遊びよ。 良い子の昼間はおねむの時間。 夜は人狩りサービスタイムよ。	But of course. Well-behaved children sleep during the day... The night is for man-hunting!
Remilia	悪いけど急いでるんだ。 さっさとやられてくれないか？	Too bad we're in a hurry. So, mind getting shot down right now?
Mystia	ちょっと待って、って言ってるでしょ？	Didn't I say to wait?
Sakuya	お嬢様。 この程度の奴相手にしていると、きりが 無いですわ。	My Lady. We shouldn't stoop to this thing's level; there isn't time.
Remilia	そうね。	True.
Mystia	まったく、ふざけてるわね！ 夜に飛ぶ鳥を恐れた事は無いのかしら？	Don't joke around! Aren't you scared by birds flying in the night?
Remilia	フライドチキン、でしょ？ 私は人間がいいわ。	You mean flied (fried) chicken? I prefer human.
Sakuya	（何が良いのかしら？） お嬢様、flyはフライドに変形しません。	(What does she mean?) My Lady, she said "fly", not "fry". [In Japanese, both are pronounced "furai", so it's a pun.]
Mystia	なんでもいいわ。 私が本当の闇夜の恐怖を教えてあげる！	Whatever. I'll show you the true terror of darkness!
Sakuya	闇夜の恐怖、ねぇ……	"Terror of darkness", hmm... [It's so funny how Mystia claims to show the "true terror of darkness" to Remilia, who's a Lord of the Night...]

	Mystia Lorelei DEFEATED
Remilia	さぁ、咲夜。そいつをフライにするか、 それとも先に進むか、どっちが良い？	Now, Sakuya. To fry that bird, or go on ahead, which shall we do?
Sakuya	フライは後にして、先に進みましょう。 夜は短いのですよ。 そういえば、なんでこっちに向ってる んでしょうか？	Let's ignore that small fry and get back to work. The night is short. By the way, why are we heading this way?
Remilia	ん？、燃料補給。	Hm? Refueling.
Sakuya	……	...... [Looks like Remilia is craving a late-night snack. If so, heading to a human village makes sense...]

Stage 3

Wasn't there a village here?

Sakuya	お嬢様。 こんなところ、さっさと通り抜けましょう。	My Lady. Let's pass by this place quickly.
Remilia	まぁ、別に餓えてはいないけど……	Well, I'm not hungry at the moment, so...
Keine	まったく、ここの人間が居なくなったら 残るは妖怪と変な人間だけになるじゃないか！	Damn, without the humans in the village, there are only youkai and weirdos left!
	Keine Kamishirasawa PAUSES
Keine	むむ、お前達何もんだ？	Umm, who in the world are you?
Remilia	ふん。もう後が無いんじゃないかい？	Bah. There's no end to this now, is there?
Sakuya	お嬢様！ 少々お戯れが過ぎますよ。	My Lady! You're toying with it a little too much.

Sakuya	達って、ねぇ。	Devil"s", hmm? [Sakuya isn't a devil, of course.]

Sakuya	ええ、うちのお屋敷の道具は人間製のもの も結構有りますわ。	Yes, the furniture in the mansion is made skillfully by these humans, in fact.
Keine	よく見て……。 見ての通り、ここには何も無かったんだよ。 いいから、さっさと通り過ぎな。	Look closely... As you can see, there's absolutely nothing here. Now move along, since I said so.
Sakuya	なんか嫌な態度ね。 里と人間をどこやったのかしら？	What a horrible attitude. What did you do with the humans and the village?
Keine	判らんのか？ そもそも、人間は居なかった事にした。 今、ここの里の歴史は全て私が 保護している。	Don't you understand? I made it such that no humans ever lived here. I'm protecting the entire history of this village now.
Remilia	咲夜。 妹の家庭教師に良いんじゃない？ 郷土歴史学の先生って感じで。	Sakuya. Wouldn't she work well as the little sister's tutor? She feels like a teacher for local history. [Remilia is talking about Flandre Scarlet, last seen as the Extra boss of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.]
Sakuya	うちにはもう知識人は要りませんわ……。	We don't need any more bookworms in the mansion... [Sakuya is referring to Patchouli Knowledge, the book-loving resident of Scarlet Devil Mansion.]
Keine	いいか、もう一度言う。 ここには元々何も無かった。 人間も人間の里もだ。	Argh, I'll say it once more. There isn't and never was anything around here. Especially not humans or a human village.
Sakuya	どうも、その言い方がひっかかるのよね。 お嬢様。 少々時間を頂けますか？	There's something about the way you speak... My Lady, would you give me a bit of time?
Remilia	急いでるんだけどね。物凄く。	We really are in a hurry.

Keine	そこの悪魔の歴史も私が頂こうか？	Shall I consume the devil's history as well?
Remilia	ふん、偉そうね。 ワーハクタクの癖に。 歴史ばっかり見ているお前には、 運命は変えられないよ。	Mpf, that's just great. Maybe it's a peculiarity of were-hakutaku... As long as you just look at history, you won't be able to change your fate. [The abilities of Remilia and Keine make a very good contrast. Remilia can control fate (future), while Keine can manipulate history (past)...]
Sakuya	お嬢様。 時間を頂いてもいいのですね？	My Lady, now may I borrow some time?
Remilia	しょうがないわねぇ。 ちょっとなら、私の時間も使っても良いわ。	It can't be helped. You can use a bit of my time. Just a moment's worth.

Sakuya	さぁ、すっきりしたところで先を 急ぎましょう。	Ah, that was refreshing. Let's move on, my Lady.
Remilia	まだ、里は元に戻ってないけど もうすっきりしたの？	But, the village is still invisible... are you really refreshed?
Sakuya	もうすっきりしたわ。きれいさっぱり。	Yes, indeed. I'm thoroughly refreshed.
Remilia	まぁいいけど、こいつのお陰ですっかり妖気の 上流の方向を見失ったわ。 咲夜は、行き先が分かってるのかしら。	Good to hear, but thanks to her, I've lost the direction that evil air was in. Do you know where to go, Sakuya?
Sakuya	きれいさっぱりですわ。 でもほら、こんなときに便利な奴がいます。	I have absolutely no idea. However, she might be useful for a problem like this.
Keine	あー？満月の異変の原因？ それは、あいつの仕業だろう。 こんな事出来る奴なんてそうそう居ないしな。	You mean the cause of this corrupted moon? It could only be her doing. There are very few beings capable of this.
Sakuya	知識人は役に立つわね。 家にはもう要らないけど。	See, bookworms can be useful. The mansion doesn't need any more of them, though.
Remilia	家の知識人は本ばっかり読んでて、 あんまり役に立っていない気が……	Our mansion's bookworm really is a bookworm, so she's hardly useful at all...
Sakuya	ムダ知識が豊富なのですよ。 もう要らないけど。	Well, she does have a lot of useless knowledge... We really don't need any more.

Stage 4 Uncanny

Encountering an old friend

	伝説の夢の国	Legendary Paradise
	月明かりの竹の国は、夢の様に不気味に見えた。 今にも竹が、妖しく輝きだしそうである。	The forest of bamboo under the moonlight, it was as eerie as a dream. Each bamboo tree looked as if it would start glowing at any moment.

??	そこまでよ！	Stop right there!
	Reimu Hakurei ENTERS
Reimu	やっぱりあんたね。 どうりで、時間の流れがおかしいと思ったよ。	It was you after all. No wonder I thought the flow of time seemed weird. [One of Sakuya's talents is the control of time and space.]
Sakuya	何の事かしら？	What are you talking about?
Remilia	ほら、普段からおかしな事してるんでしょ？ 咲夜って、そうだもんねぇ。	You're always doing weird things, right? That's Sakuya for you.
Sakuya	まぁ、酷いですわ。	Ah, you're cruel.
Reimu	まぁ、いつもおかしな事はしてるけど。 今日は一段と大きな事をしてるわね。	Yeah, you always do weird things. But this time you went too far.
	楽園の素敵な巫女 博麗 霊夢 Reimu Hakurei	Shrine Maiden in the Paradise Reimu Hakurei
Reimu	まるで、紅い霧のあの時みたいだわ。	You know, this reminds me of that Scarlet Mist... [She's referring to the events of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.]
Remilia	おかしな事をしているのは咲夜だけど、 大きな事をしているのは私達じゃないわ。	But, even though Sakuya's doing weird things, they are not the the weirdest by far.
Sakuya	今は、その犯人を懲らしめに動いているの ですわ。	Right now, we're on our way to punish the real culprit.
Reimu	鳥の目はごませても。 私の目はごまかせないわ。 あんたらが動くたびに、時刻が止まる。 夜が延びる。 夜を止めている犯人は、あんたらだ！	Maybe you could fool a bird with your lame excuse. You won't trick me, though. With every move you make, time stops. The night becomes longer. The mastermind behind this endless night is you!
Remilia	そりゃ、そうよ。悪いかしら？	Yeah, so. Anything wrong with that?
Sakuya	お嬢様。 今は、夜を止める事が目的ではありません。 霊夢の後ろの月を見て下さい。 ほらもうこんなに……。	My Lady. Stopping the night was not our original goal. Look at the moon behind Reimu. It's already been...
Reimu	あの月と、終らない夜は関係無いでしょ？ 夜を止めて、そんでもって吸血鬼が跋扈して、 これほど危険な夜もないわ！	The moon has nothing to do with this, okay? Vampires wandering around during an endless night, what could be more dangerous than that?!
Remilia	もう、私は夜の王なんだからその位 許してよぉ。	Well, I am lord of the night, so please excuse me.
Sakuya	おっしゃってる意味があまり……。	I don't think you're helping...

Reimu	とにかく、この場で時刻の進みを 正常に戻させる。 妖怪を退治するのが私の仕事よ！	Anyway, I'll restore the normal flow of time. It's my duty to defeat these youkai threats!
Sakuya	あなたにはまだ判っていないようね。 私たちが夜を止めている理由が。	Do you still not understand why we're stopping the night?
Remilia	咲夜、ここは急がなくてもいいわ。 あなたが時刻を調整してくれるのなら。 私は誤解のままでもかまわない。 何時ぞやの借りを返すチャンスなの。	Sakuya, there's no need to hurry, as long as you're manipulating time. I don't mind being misunderstood. It's a good chance to pay her back for that day. [Remilia is talking about getting revenge for her defeat during Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. While Remilia is certainly somewhat fond of Reimu, she still wants to show she's better than Reimu.]
Sakuya	お嬢様がそうおっしゃるのなら……。	Well, if my Lady says so...
Reimu	さぁ、棺桶に戻る覚悟はいい？	So, are you ready to go back to your coffin?
Remilia	棺桶は死人の入るものだって、 前に言ったじゃない。	As I told you before, coffins are for the dead.
Reimu	紅くて冥くて窓の少ない棺桶よ！	That windowless, dark and scarlet coffin! [A pretty accurate description of Scarlet Devil Mansion.]
	Reimu Hakurei EXITS
Remilia	逃げたわ！そっち。	She's running away! This way.
Sakuya	私のナイフから逃げれると思って？	Do you think you can escape from my knives?
	Reimu Hakurei ENTERS
	Reimu Hakurei PAUSES
Reimu	この竹林で迷わないなんて……。	How are you not getting lost in this bamboo forest...
Sakuya	あなたの後を追ってきたの。 逃さないわ。	We're just following you. You can't escape.
Reimu	さっきは、いきなり二人で驚いただけ。 もう準備は出来たわ。 あんたらを、結界のすきまに落とし込む！	You surprised me by both attacking at once. Now I'm ready. Lose yourselves in the gap of my boundary!
	Reimu Hakurei DEFEATED
Remilia	借りは返したわ。 血は飲まないでおいてあげるから、 さっさとお帰り。	I've had my revenge. I'll do you the favor of not drinking your blood, so go on home.
Reimu	うーん。 夜を止めたりして、一体何が目的なのよ。	Not yet. What was the purpose of stopping the night?
Sakuya	そういう質問は、闘う前にするものよ。 今は、私たちの勝った後なので、答える必要は 無いわ。	You should have asked that before we fought. We've won, so we have no need to answer anymore.
Remilia	永遠の満月の復元（ボソ）	(mumbles) ...restoring the eternal full moon...
Sakuya	永遠は付かせません！	NOT eternal!
Reimu	明日になっても夜のままだったら嫌だなぁ。	Sigh, I'd be disgusted if it were still night tomorrow.
Remilia	咲夜、あれ。 あの屋敷……。	Sakuya, look. That mansion...
