	Description:	(Touhou 10) Aquamarine hair and eyes. Her hair is decorated with very frilly red bows (the frills are white), and part of her hair is tied under her chin with a bow. Her dress is red with white frills on the bottom and an enormous white kerchief on top; the bottom also has a medium aquamarine swirl resembling the "厄" (misfortune) kanji at the bottom. She also wears knee-length black boots similar to Alice Margatroid's.

Hina is the leader of the Nagashi-bina doll army whose job is to scare off lost Humans who get too near to the Youkai Mountain as well as gathering their misfortune. When Hina sees the heroine nearing Youkai Mountain during Mountain of Faith she attempts to scare her off. This isn't because Hina is cruel, she's actually trying to help the heroine who she thinks could be harmed on such a dangerous mountain. However, regardless of her good intentions and claims of being a friend to humans, the heroine isn't too happy with Hina getting in the way and must defeat her.

Fun Facts

The characters for Kagiyama literally mean "key mountain". Hina could mean either "Bird chick" or "Doll."
She is sometimes referred to by her official title,「厄神」 or "Yakugami" (meaning "misfortune god"), and has become a nickname of sorts, even though it is official.
Hina is the leader of the "Nagashi-bina doll army." This refers to a Japanese ritual of transferring one's sins and misfortune to a doll (a Nagashi-bina) and throwing it in a river to be carried away.
Since Hina spins around in Mountain of Faith, she is depicted loving to spin all the time without getting dizzy, most people would say, 'Spin spin, Hina likes to spin.'
Hina spinning may be a reference to her ability to store up curses. This is because the kanji for curse (厄) looks somewhat like a swirl, just like the one on her dress.
This has resulted to comparisons between her and Wallachia from Melty Blood, due to Wallachia spinning a lot and screaming "Reverse the birth, reverse death, reverse the world and SPIN SPIN SPIN!" Spin Hina. Spin.

Head of the Nagashi-bina doll army. She stores up all the curses that are expelled during exorcisms.
Even those with no real spiritual experience can tell that she's surrounded by curses.

Any human or youkai around her will run into misfortune. However, she herself never has this problem. It only affects those around her.

Hina does her best to make sure that misfortune does not befall humans once again.
