This is the Hakurei Shrine, located at the edge of Gensokyo. In the end, the Saigyou Ayakashi blossomed, but not fully. The seal on it didn't break, so as always, everyone was greeted by the arrival of spring. At her mistress' insistence, Sakuya decided to take her out for a flower viewing. In all of Gensokyo, no place is better than this shrine for a soothing view of cherry blossoms.
Sakuya "Mistress, we're almost there." Remilia "Perhaps it's because they were delayed, but this year's cherries are brilliant." Sakuya "I got to appreciate these cherries a little before you." Remilia "You have good eyes, Sakuya." Sakuya "That's not quite what I meant..."

Reimu "Geez, don't just invite yourselves into my garden!" Sakuya "That sounds mean." Youmu "You're so mean." Reimu "...Ignoring me is meaner." Yuyuko "By the way, I wouldn't recommend standing under that tree." Reimu "What?" Yuyuko "Whoever's buried there has been decaying for the past 50 years." Youmu "Still ripening." Reimu "Oh, geez..." Sakuya "Never mind that, I brought some sweets and drinks with me." Reimu "Well fine then. As long as Sakuya does the cleaning." Sakuya "I agreed to no such thing. Fortunately, we have someone here more suited to that job." Yuyuko "Yeah, we do." Youmu "...(sigh)"
At that moment, the cherry blossoms surrounding Reimu seemed to redden. Perhaps it was because the sun was approaching the horizon...
