- Her surname, "Kitashirakawa", means "north white river".
- Chiyuri's appearance and speech patterns are based off of Eriko Asagaoka from Izumi Takemoto's manga "Apple Paradise".
- Chiyuri appears on the cover of Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream along with all the other characters in that game.
- Because of her clothes she is thought to be the inspiration of Murasa of UFO.
- Chiyuri, along with Murasa, is similar to Mokou, who is wearing pants, although they both wear shorts.
- In Mystic Square's all-cast staff roll, Chiyuri is called "Tiyuri".
